Sticking by her man, as he did for her during her nude photo debacle, Vanessa Hudgens shot down a report in Star magazine claiming that her co star beau Zac Efron doesn’t shower.
The 19-year-old High School Musical singer/actress recently told Newsweek: “He showers! He showers! Believe me, he does. Whoever came up with that is completely idiotic.”
“Every day?” the interviewer asked.
“Yes! Of course,” Vanessa replied. “That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard!”
Hudgens spoke to Newsweek from San Francisco, as part of HSM3 takes place at Stanford University, revealing: “I get accepted.”
But don’t expect HSM: The College Years. “Not for us,” the Disney starlet tells. “We’re pretty much done, I think.”
Hudgens – who is also planning a tour for her new album, Identified – said she hopes to “relax for a minute” after that. “Be able to breathe, feel life, buy a house, kind of get situated,” she said of her post HSM plans.

“I don’t know what people think about her on the outside or what their impression is, but Jessica is very strong and a very powerful woman. She’ll probably be the disciplinarian more than Cash. I can definitely see that.”

According to reports, the Mexican getaway is in celebration of Heigl’s completion of her latest film “The Ugly Truth,” slated to open April 3rd of 2009 and starring Gerard Butler and Cheryl Hines.
