Britney Spears and Kevin Federline Square Off in Court

Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline arrived in court in Los Angeles for the latest hearing in their ongoing custody battle on Tuesday (May 6).

And while she used to be late (or not show at all), Britney surprised everyone involved by showing up 30 minutes early, while K-Fed and his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan followed shortly afterwards.

The progress hearing at Los Angeles family court is to re-evaluate the ex-couple’s child custody situation, and the hearing was scheduled to discuss the results of a psychiatrist’s evaluation of Spears.

For the outing, Us magazine reports that “Spears wore heels, a brown dress with big white polka dots, and a cream-colored sweater. Her hair was very blonde and she was accompanied by her parents, Lynne and Jamie.”

If Britney’s deemed competent, Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon, who is presiding over the hearing, could officially amend the agreement and allow the singer more official visits.
