David Beckham Scores 100th Cap, Posh Watches
In the world of soccer, it doesn’t get much better than David Beckham. And the English stud took the field to earn his 100th cap for England last night.
It all went down in Paris, as Team England took on Team France in an epic soccer match. And the whole Beckham brood was in the house for all the action.
Wife Victoria was spotted looking proud of her hubby, and wearing a black and charcoal fitted dress along with a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.
Also packed into the luxury suite were David’s parents Ted and Sandra, along with his sister Joanne and Posh’s parents Tony and Jackie.
But in the end, all the family support was not enough to garner a win for Team England. They lost the match 1-0.
Becks told press, “My parents are here, my granny is watching back home, my sister, my sons and my wife are also here. I’m very proud. Reaching 100 caps doesn’t happen every day but, like I said before the game, I am hoping it is not 100 and out. I want to carry on playing for my country.”
He continued, “Having my family and all the fans there was incredible and to get the reception I did from both sets of fans when I came off was amazing. I’m very proud of that because, if there was another place apart from Wembley where I would like to get to 100 caps then it would’ve been here in Paris.”
