Shakira Joins Live Earth Hamburg
If you’re a fan of Shakira and plan on attending Live Earth’s Hamburg show, then you’re in luck. It was announced on Friday (June 22) that the hip shaking Colombian sensation has joined an already star-studded lineup for the July 7, 2007 concert.
“Live Earth is about engaging a mass movement of people to take action against the climate crisis,” Live Earth Founder and Producer Kevin Wall said. “The addition of internationally popular music acts like Shakira will help us reach millions of people across the globe.”
The event, which is staging concerts in New York, London, Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg and Hamburg, will bring an estimated 2 billion people together in an effort to combat global warming.
On the Hamburg card, Shakira will joins forces with Snoop Dogg, Enrique Iglesias, Chris Cornell, and numerous other lesser-known acts.
