Rising Disney stars/BFFs Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez have made the trip up north to Toronto, Ontario, as the duo arrived arm-in-arm to their hotel on Thursday afternoon (July 3).
With her Wizards of Waverly Place pal there for support, Miss Lovato is readying for her opening act duties for the Jonas Brothers - with the tour kicking off at the Molson Amphitheatre later tonight.
The North America tour then heads to the States, beginning with a show in Clarkston, Michigan on Saturday night - finally wrapping up on September 5 with a show in West Palm Beach.
As for Lovato, the blooming singer recently told press that “most of the music she’s interested in is too dark to make it on a Disney album” - so, as the story goes, she “turned to the Jonas Brothers to lighten her act up.”

Looking the oh-so-swanky couple, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were spotted out in New York City over the Father’s Day weekend - leaving a private function arm-in-arm.
Lopez recently returned to the Big Apple following a short trip to the nation’s capital this past week, during which she met with senators about healthcare and education issues.
While there were reports that Lopez was actually there to meet Barack Obama’s staff, a representative the 38-year-old South Bronx native denied these claims.
“Tuesday afternoon, Ms. Lopez was on (Capitol) Hill with her sister to meet with staff members of several senators to discuss issues she is interested in, such as healthcare and education,” her rep told People. “She did visit Obama’s office, but the senator was not there. She did not meet him, but did discuss healthcare with members of his staff.
“She just came in for the meeting and departed,” Obama’s spokesman confirmed. “It was not campaign-related.”

A People magazine report goes on to tell: “Although she did not perform, her music played – specifically, her new song “Come on Over,” the leadoff single from her as-yet-untitled first country album, due in the fall.”
Unfortunately, Tony couldn’t make the trip to Nashville - as he has football obligations back home in Dallas.

Last night was the end of Los Angeles Fashion Week, and there was seemingly no better way of drawing to a close than doing so with Paris Hilton.
Wearing a midnight blue satin jumpsuit, Paris had missed her sister Nicky’s Chick by Nicky Hilton launch earlier in the week - making many wonder whether she would show up at all this year.
But the heiress finally arrived, sashaying down the runway to her front-row seat arm-in-arm with Petro Zillia designer, Nony Tochterman.
“I’ve been shooting a film in Toronto for two months,” Hilton told press, noting that she came back to town for Spike TV’s Scream Awards and to see Petro Zillia’s “great collection.”
After the show, Paris headed to party it up at Area nightclub before calling it quits for the evening.
