Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore: Go-Karting with Scout
Given their whirlwind careers, it’s important for movie stars to put family first. And Ashton Kutcher and his wife Demi Moore were spotted spending some quality time with daughter Scout Willis yesterday.
The “What Happens in Vegas” stud and his “Charlie’s Angels” sweetie took the youngster for a fun afternoon of go-karting at a local track. They looked like they were enjoying themselves, with Kutcher sporting a white v-neck, plaid shirt, and cargo shorts, while Demi rocked a white top/white yoga pants/white sandals ensemble.
Meanwhile, Scout’s older sister Rumer Willis has been keeping busy following in her parents’ footsteps as of late. She’s working on a new comedy called “The House Bunny” which is slated to hit theaters this August.
She recently told press that being in the spotlight has taken some getting used to. “It’s very different to be an accessory then actually do it (acting), because all the responsibility is on you. I always wanted to be part of the family business. Growing up I would sit in a trailer and hang out. I’ve been in press junkets before, but never been the one sitting behind the table answering questions.”
Chris Kattan Green With Matrimony
It turns out Chris Kattan would rather drape himself in green than gold lamé.
The former Saturday Night Live star swapped vows Saturday with model Sunshine Tutt in what was described to News as an environmentally friendly affair.
“Married in beautiful Yosemite Valley, Calif., today,” Kattan, 37, writes on his website.
The couple, who enjoyed an uncharacteristically long Hollywood engagement of 18 months, walked the aisle in front of a small group. Invitees included Kattan’s onetime SNL castmates Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Jimmy Fallon.
Nature played a big part in the wedding theme, starting with biodegradable invitations printed on flower seed paper that could be replanted in the guests’ own gardens.
Kattan popped the question Christmas Eve, 2006, at Tutt’s grandmother’s house in Gainesville, Texas.
Tutt, 31, has appeared on E!’s Sunset Tan and in the feature film Monkeybone, in addition to print work.
Kattan left SNL in 2003 and has kept busy doing voice workhe had roles in Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters and will be heard in the upcoming Foodfight!and various other film and TV spots, including the Night at the Roxbury-spoofing Super Bowl commercial for Diet Pepsi Max.
More recently, Kattan has been working on the big-screen comedy Hollywood and Wine with Pamela Anderson and David Spade and may be back on the small screen soon.
Serving as host, Kattan shot the pilot in April for CBS’ Game Show in My Head, another wacky sounding offering from Ashton Kutcher’s production company, Katalyst TV, in which contestants do embarrassing things in public for money. So far, it’s unclear whether CBS will be carving out a spot on its schedule for the Candid Camera-style series.
But that’s OK, Kattan has a honeymoon to get to.

Ashton Kutcher’s Scruffy Mystery: Solved!
OK, so Ashton Kutcher’s been growing this crazy beard for months now, and all of a sudden I see today he’s shaved it off. What gives?Janice, Santa Fe, N.M.
Yep, Ashton Kutcher had a beard there for a quite a few weeks all right. He grew it as part of a Jewish tradition, per In Touch. Kutcher isn’t Jewish, and neither is his wife, Demi Moore, but, like their mutual friend Madonna, they like to study Kabbalah, a mystical offshoot of Judaism.
“He is growing [the beard] because of the Jewish and Kabbalah holiday called Lag Ba’Omer,” one “insider” told the magazine.
Um, not quite. Experts tell me that this insider didn’t get it quite right. Here’s the real deal behind Kutcher’s hot fuzz…
Some Jews and Kabbalah followers adjust their habits during a 50-day stretch in the springtime. In honor of one the sadder periods in their history, they forego certain indulgences, such as weddings, music, shaves or haircuts. Indeed, according to photos, Kutcher started growing his beard right around Passover, the start of that 50-day phase.
At the other end is Savuot, which ended yesterday, leaving Ashton clean to scrape that beast off his face. Which he did.
There’s only one day during that stretch when it’s A-OK to whip out the Gillette Mach Five, and that’s a day called Lag Ba’Omer. This year it fell on May 23. Lag Ba’Omer is supposed to be like a little oasis of happy in the middle of the sad. You can even light bonfires, if you’re into it.
In other words, you don’t grow your hair because of Lag Ba’Omer, as In Touch reported. You cut it off, if you want to, on Lag Ba’Omer.
Got that? Good. Now just wait till you see what shenanigans Asthon’s planning for the Fast of Tammuz in July!
Oh, and be my fan on Facebook, ’kay?
