No Gossip About Chace Crawford
Where in the world was Michelle Trachtenberg last night?
Not with Chace Crawford!
Trachtenberg and Crawford quickly shot down speculation that they’ve been getting cozy since she joined the cast of Gossip Girl.
At last night's event, when asked by New York magazine about the rumors, Trachtenberg said, "Tabloids make up crazy s–t."
And it was strictly a girls' night out for Trachtenberg last evening when she hit a VIP dinner at New York’s Macelleria restaurant for the Theory Icon Project followed by the opening of artist David Ellis’ “Flyaway” show at the nearby Theory store.
I’m told Trachtenberg spent most of her time hanging with publishing heiress and model Lydia Hearst (above) and the model daughters of rocker Keith Richards, Alexandra and Theodora.
Trachtenberg and Hearst left the party at about 10 pm. No word if they continued their partying elsewhere.
Also at the Ellis affair were Gina Gershon, Damon Dash, May Anderson and Bijou Phillips.
ThunderCats Movie Model?

UPDATE: A number of readers have pointed out that the above model is 1) FAKE, 2) LAME, 3) “Probably left over from Small Soldiers” and 4) Not worth talking about
Like a good number of 20somethings, a ThunderCats movie makes me want to run far far away and hide from the Langolier that is booming ’80s nostalgia. Furthering my phobia, Snarfs were probably a distant ancestor of LOLCats. Above is an alleged head model rendering of one the film’s combative furballs (probably Panthro) from Warner Bros‘ 2010 all-CG adaptation of the cult cartoon series/ironic mall T-shirts. No lie: it looks like a surfing steakhead vampire from Lost Boys: The Tribe.
The film will mark the directorial debut of Jerry O’Flaherty, a video game art director on Gears of War (he also got a shout out on Daikatana, nice) from a script by Paul Sopocy (Bijou Phillips’s upcoming It’s Alive). Some sites are linking to an old Vanity Fair piece that lists Hugh Jackman and Jessica Simpson in the cast, but that article’s a total hoax.
It’s Alive Remake Movie Trailer
Are you ready for another unnecessary horror remake? Check out this Cannes Promo Trailer for Josef Rusnak’s remake of Larry Cohen’s 1974 creature feature It’s Alive starring Bijou Phillips (Hostel: Part II) and James Murray. The movie tells the story about a couple who find that their newborn baby, when scared, has an appetite for murder, when scared. Millennium Films produced, no release date has been announced. Marisa Tomei to Co-Star in Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler

If Bijou Phillips could act, she’d be Marisa Tomei. When Julianne Moore does nudity, it’s like she’s making a fiery feminist statement with a dash of humor. When Tomei does it, like in the first minute(s) of Sidney Lumet’s sharp Before the Devil Knows Your Dead or in Slums of Beverly Hills, it’s like she’s bringing you some Colgate for your toothbrush and she adores you, sleepily. Does that make sense?
The Oscar winning actress has signed on for Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler, and she’s set to play the female lead opposite a long haired, peaked Mickey Rourke. And, yeah, she’s playing a stripper with child. Rourke moves in with her and builds a relationship with the tyke. I have to see this movie, because the sleaze factor is flowing as freely as Willy Wonka’s chocolate river. I want accents too heavy for trash bags, loud ’80s fabrics and a sex scene set to Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me” (the song is in the flick).
Here’s Peter’s review of the script from a few months ago. Also, keep an eye on the film’s official site for updates and possible parts as an extra.
