Fergie Gets Ready For Bluesfest
With white snakeskin handbag in arms, Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson made her way to Los Angeles International Airport for a departing flight on Thursday (July 3).
Followed by paparazzi from her house to the LAX security checkpoint, the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman was reportedly catching a flight to Canada as she prepares to perform at the Ottawa Bluesfest on Tuesday (July 8).
The festival, which kicked off yesterday, is in it’s 15th year and is now Ottawa’s largest music festival with more than 200 acts ready to perform.
Press reports tell that the entertainers are divided among six stages each day - with the Black Crowes, James Taylor, the Tragically Hip and Great Big Sea joining Fergie as the main stage headliners.

The Black Eyed Peas are on their “Black Blue and You” world tour, and that means that Fergie gets to gyrate her fine figure all about the stage.
The group is currently globe-trotting about Asia, with recent performances in Bangalore on Tuesday, Bangkok on Thursday and Jakarta on Saturday.
According to press in Thailand, “The group sang big numbers like Where is the Love, Shut Up, Pump It, Don’t Phunk With My Heart and Don’t Lie from the album Monkey Business, along with almost all the numbers from their other album Elephunk.”
From this point, Fergie and the gang head off to Indonesia, followed by a string of performances in China. The tour comes to a close on October 30th with a Horden Pavillion show in Sydney, Australia.

Last night’s festivities at the Nokia Theater included an awesome on-stage reunion of Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie and Will.i.am. And the “Glamorous” singer brought her A-game for a three-fold performance.
The Duchess began with her signature song “Fergalicious” and was joined by a velvet tuxedo-clad Will.i.am, who handled his rapping duties with the precision of a pro.
Fergie then migrated to the stage beside her where she was joined by a full backup band for a rousing rendition of “Clumsy” complete with 50s-style backup dancers.
The “My Humps” lady rounded out her performance with the crowd-pleaser “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” singing from her heart and captivating the audience. If last night was any indication of her normal live show, fans better get tickets to the Fergie tour before they sell out!

Wearing a tiara and holding a crystal-studded scepter, Fergie took to the stage of the Borgata Event Center to perform her final show of 2007 to a sold-out crowd.
According to Atlantic City press, “On Saturday, Fergie brought all her hits, including a medley of her popular Black Eyed Peas singles and the full-length version of My Humps.”
Continuing on, the spectator told that Fergie took a moment from the show to “discuss the gossip bloggers who have said negative things about her very public missteps (she once urinated on stage) and her relationships.”
“This next song is dedicated to those mother f****rs saying negative things!” Fergie said to wild cheers, adding, “By the way, I apologize to all the moms and dads for my filth mouth sometime.”
The Duchess also told the concert-goers that “she had a $500 bet with her drummer on the New England Patriots - New York Giants game.”
“Does anyone know who is winning?” she asked the crowd. “What’s the score?”
When she found out the Giants were ahead 14 to 10, Fergie shouted, “14-10 baby! Wooo!”
Obvious that she put her money on New York, it looks like the Black Eyed Pea singer is out $500, as the Patriots ended up coming back to win the game.
