She set trends with her sophisticated bob, and now Katie Holmes has debuted a new chin-length hairstyle.
After dining at Osteria Mozza in Los Angeles on Monday, the Mad Money actress exited the restaurant to find a pack of clamoring photographers who happily snapped her in her super short boycut.
Katie is reportedly in the midst of giving her acting career a boost by appearing in the Broadway production of All My Sons.
As previously reported by , the former Dawson’s Creek star allegedly told her Top Gun hubby that she wants a career like actress Reese Witherspoon’s, without his help.
Gilbert Heads Back to the Prairie

Melissa Gilbert, who played the precocious Laura Ingalls on the tear-jerking NBC drama Little House on the Prairie, has joined the upcoming Broadway production of Little House, which will begin previews at the Guthrie Theater July 26.
Opening night is scheduled for Aug. 15.
Gilbert, who practically grew up on the Little House set, spending nine years getting into scrapes, learning lessons and warming hearts as Laura, will step into the more mature role of Caroline “Ma” Ingalls, who was played by Karen Grassle in the series.
Stage veteran Steve Blanchard will star as Charles “Pa” Ingalls, the heart of the homestead originally embodied by the late Michael Landon.

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than with a family outing on the town? That’s exactly what Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner found themselves doing yesterday (January 12).
The family, who are just back in Los Angeles after a 4-month stay in New York City, went back to their normal routine by taking daughter Violet for coffee at City Bakery and shopping at Toy Crazy.
As mentioned above, Jen and Ben are returning from a trip to the Big Apple so that Miss Garner could perform in the Broadway production Cyrano de Bergerac.
Despite a 19-day strike which interrupted the scheduled performances, “the Broadway revival recouped its $3.5 million capitalization cost in its eighth week on the boards,” according to the show’s producers.
Continuing to speak of Garner’s show’s success, a recently released report tells: ” (Cyrano) spent the final five weeks of its just-ended run grossing more than $900,000 per week - musical-sized numbers only achieved by rare straight-play mega-hits such as The Odd Couple and Three Days of Rain.”

It looks like Sue Storm is going to be a mommy! That’s right, Jessica Alba is officially pregnant, and she couldn’t be happier.
The “Awake” actress and her boyfriend Cash Warren have been spotted looking a little extra affectionate lately, attending a Los Angeles Lakers game last Sunday, as well as mattress shopping the day prior.
And Alba’s rep has finally confirmed the news. Brad Cafarelli told press, “I can confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer.”
So it would appear Jessica’s Broadway premiere will have to wait, in favor of her impending motherhood. Prior to the preggers announcement, Alba was in talks to star in a Broadway production of “Speed-the-Plow.”
