Hilary Duff’s Animal Hospital Visit
Hilary Duff’s Animal Hospital Visit
Wearing tight plaid pants with a white tanktop, Hilary Duff dropped by the California Animal Hospital in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 3).
Accessorizing with a pair of cute blue pumps, sunglasses and a brown leather bag, the “Lizzie McGuire” actress was there on behalf of one of her numerous canine housemates.
Meanwhile, in career related news, Duff is scheduled to record her fifth studio album during the summer months of this year as a follow-up to her first studio album, Metamorphosis, which went triple platinum.
As previously reported by , the 20-year-old former Disney queen is also set to star in the new comedy Stay Cool, in which she plays “a sultry high school senior who tries to seduce an author visiting her school.”
Lindsay Lohan Won’t Take Daddy’s Calls?
Lindsay Lohan Won’t Take Daddy’s Calls?
Continuing on her road to career restoration, Lindsay Lohan was spotted taking a break from shooting her new movie “Labor Pains” yesterday in Los Angeles, California.
And as could be expected, LiLo donned a variety of different ensembles throughout the day, sporting everything from a pale violet dress to a loud and proud red white and black retro 80s getup.
While things seem to be going well in her professional life, her personal life is a different story. Following her father’s very public comment that her more-than-just-friends relationship with Samantha Ronson is evident to “anyone with half a brain,” Lindsay was devastated.
In fact, she’s not returning her dad’s calls and Michael Lohan left a frantic voicemail for the “Mean Girls” actress earlier this week begging her to call him.
Daddy Lohan pleaded, “I’ve been trying to reach you for a week now. I know that you were annoyed that I gave an interview and my need to comment about the people you are around, and obviously you took offense to it. Honey, I’m sorry. I am telling you, I just love you. And I promise you, I absolutely promise you, I will not mention your name in the press, at all, ever again,” the message continues.
“I promise you, I’ll keep questions out of the press, when it comes to you. I promise. Just please, please, honey, call me or pick up the phone. You need to promise me…When I was out of your life, everything started to unwind — all these things didn’t do well — and so on, so forth. And how people are blaming me because you’re not getting roles or something?”
Miley Cyrus Talks Topless Photo Scandal
Miley Cyrus Talks Topless Photo Scandal
Everyone is entitled to their fair share of mistakes, especially at a young age. And Miley Cyrus recently opened up about the whole Vanity Fair photo scandal from earlier this year.
The “Hannah Montana” babe told press, “I was embarrassed… but also it’s like, every career thing that I do can’t be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong.”
Miss Cyrus also said that she hopes her fallibility will help her fanbase realize that she’s flawed just like everybody else. “I don’t think people will look at me any differently because they’re like, ‘You know what, I’m going to do stupid stuff too, and I’m going to make mistakes, and that’s fine.’”
As for her status as a role model for young women, she says she’s flattered but, “that doesn’t mean that I’m not going to make mistakes and do things that everyone’s going to be happy with … there’s no such thing as perfection.”
Just like any career-minded entertainer, Miley has been pondering the question of what’s next. “I’ve been talking to people about some cool movies, but right now I mostly want to stay within my company and keep them happy and keep everything that we’re doing successful and focus on that. I like to do everything that I do 120 percent and unless I can focus hardcore on that, I don’t want to do it yet.”
Miley Cyrus Is Just Like Us! (If We Were on the Cover of Billboard)
Miley Cyrus graces the latest cover of Billboard, dishing about coming of age, being taken seriously as an artist and the controversy surrounding her naughty, naughty shoulder blade.
We’ve always loved us some Miley, but we find it hard to take a woman too seriously when all 90 pounds of her is saying stuff like, “I’m a good ol’ Southern girl that likes her Cracker Barrel at 9 o’clock at night and if I want it, gosh darn, I’m going to eat it. I’m not going to make myself miserable.”
Uh-huh. Here are more of her “imperfections” in some Hannah highlights:
On Her Album: “It’s grown-up. I wrote all the songs except two. My last one, Meet Miley Cyrus, was more just meeting me, finding out who I am, and here it’s more getting in depth of what’s been going on in my life in the past year.”
On Her Art: “No matter how long what I’m doing here lasts, I want to be a songwriter for the rest of my life…I just hope this record showcases thatmore than anythingI’m a writer.
“I wrote my first song when I was probably 7it was called ’Pink.’ That shows what kind of song it was aboutit’s about the color pink. But you know what, darn it, I wrote it and I’ve been writing since I was my little sister’s age.”
On Her Shoulder: “I was embarrassed,” she says of her famous Vanity Fair photo shoot. “But also it’s like, every career thing that I do can’t be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong. I think that just makes me even more relatable. I don’t think people will look at me any differently because they’re like, ‘You know what, I’m going to do stupid stuff too, and I’m going to make mistakes, and that’s fine.’ It still hurts when I think about it.”
