Mutant Chronicles Trailer!
The trailer for Mutant Chronicles has finally made its way online. I’ve been following this movie for a while so I’m glad we finally have a trailer. AICN say:
Tom Jane and Perlman say this flick is something they’re proud of. I’ve talked to both of them about stuff they’ve done and they’ve been completely unfiltered about their opinion, having been very blunt about bad experiences and bad films in their filmography
It’s good they are proud of it because it does look dark and interesting, but then again Halle Berry was proud of Catwoman. It is obvious the movie didn’t have the biggest budget but that doesn’t mean it wont be a treat.
Rose McGowan Is Red Sonja
It seems another 80’s fantasy film is being remade. Rose McGowan has been cast as Red Sonja in Red Sonja, the movie will be produced by Sin City director Robert Rodriguez and will begin filming in October. The casting isn’t too surprising, seeing as though Rose McGowan and Robert Rodriguez have engaged in sexual intercourse many a time and are due to be wed. It also isn’t too surprising that he had this to say:
“Rose is a pistol. She’s whip-smart, has attitude to burn, is sexy, extremely strong, yet has a vulnerable side that would surprise her closest friends. That description also fits Red Sonja.”
Red Sonja will be directed longtime Rodriguez associate Douglas Aarniokoski and the aim is to get a franchise started.
The 1985 version stared a young Arnold Schwarzenegger who said it was the worst film he has ever made, and a crap Brigitte Nielsen as Red Sonja. The movie made a measly $6 million with a $15 million budget and was described as “Hilariously awful” and “Unwatchably bad sword-and-sorcery nonsense”. It appears that Robert Rodriguez has no pressure to live up to previous incarnations, so all he has to do is take notes from female action driven movies such as Aeon Flux, Catwoman and Elektra on how NOT to do things. and we could have a good movie coming our way.

Looking radiant a summery white dress, Halle Berry was spotted out for a visit to a friend’s house in Los Angeles on Friday morning (June 20).
Accompanied by a bodyguard to keep the paparazzi at a safe distance, the Catwoman actress enjoyed an hour inside before being escorted to her nearby car and back home.
Meanwhile, an accessory on Miss Berry’s left hand is sure to set the rumor mill abuzz - as suspicions about the marital status of the new mother will certainly be raised.
According to a paparazzo on the scene, “As she left her car, a diamond ring on her left ring finger twinkled in the sunlight - definitely surprising photogs on location.”
So far there’s been no word from Halle’s camp in response to the wedding rumors - but count on to keep you in the know.

Counting down the days until her baby is born, Halle Berry was out for some candle shopping at The Malibu Colony Company in Malibu on Saturday (March 15).
The Catwoman actress, who looks absolutely ready to pop, has been staying busy while currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
Of her newfound zest for life, Halle told press: “Right now I just have so much joy and energy…. I can just go and go and go.”
Meanwhile, Halle has claimed that she doesn’t know the gender of her child - decorating the nursery at home in neutral colors.
She did, however, hint that she thinks a girl may be on the way, saying: ” ‘Isn’t She Lovely,’ by Stevie Wonder, has been playing a lot in our house. And for some reason, that song keeps coming up on my iPod too – even though it’s on shuffle. We’re like, ‘It’s a sign! It’s a girl!’ “
