Fresh off of the finalization of her ongoing divorce with Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon was spotted out in Brentwood on Friday morning (June 20).
The “Sweet Home Alabama” actress was accompanied on the outing by her young son Deacon, who wore a cute t-shirt reading “World Peace Please”.
After spending quality time together, Reese dropped Deacon off at home while also changing into something a little more dressy - heading off for some much needed adult time with her gal pals.
Wearing a cute blue dress accessorized with a brimmed hat, necklace and sunglasses, Witherspoon and three close friends made their way in for their meal.
In related news, Reese recently signed on to star alongside Ben Stiller in an untitled romantic comedy directed by “Jerry Maguire’s” Cameron Crowe - with the film to begin shooting in January when Stiller and Witherspoon are free.

The “Fool’s Gold” hunk kept busy playing Frisbee and drinking a beer while Alves, who’s currently 8-months pregnant, watched over a friend’s youngster before stealing a quick kiss from her man.
Meanwhile, the expecting couple held a baby shower for close friends in Malibu last weekend and, rumor has it, the gift wrapping indicates that the duo are expecting a baby boy - although neither has been willing to talk about the sex of their impending arrival.
Explaining the scenario, a party insider told OK! magazine, “All the gifts were wrapped in blue.” The close source added: “They’re very much looking forward to meeting their baby.”

Getting a much-needed shopping fix, Rachel Bilson was spotted in the Meatpacking district of New York City on Tuesday morning (June 17).
Accompanied by a guy pal, the former OC babe combed the racks at shops including Alexander McQueen, Butik and Jeffery before taking a break for a bite to eat.
In related news, Rachel’s box office hit “Jumper” just came out on DVD a week ago - and she’s been busily interviewing as part of her press duties.
Recently chatting with the AP, Rachel revealed that she felt a little uncomfortable filming love scenes with co-star-turned-boyfriend Hayden Christensen in the sci-fi thriller.
“It’s always awkward and hard to film love scenes, it’s so unnatural, and it’s mechanical,” she said. “Actually Doug [Liman, director] made it very free and we went with it - and a shot of alcohol always helps ease the nerves.”
Despite the uneasiness, Rachel added that she had a wonderful time making the film with Hayden, Jamie Bell and Samuel L Jackson.
“It was so fantastic, the whole experience,” she said. “We all became close friends, but I also respect all of them as actors so I got to learn things from them. I was very fortunate.”

Tori Spelling’s camera-friendly pug Mimi La Rue, a staple in paparazzi shots, on her reality shows and the namesake of her and hubby Dean McDermott’s ill-fated B&B, died Tuesday of natural causes at the ripe old doggy age of 11.
Spelling tells News that her beloved four-legged friend, who suffered from hip and neck problems, died at the family home, surrounded by the couple, year-old son Liam and 10-day-old daughter Stella.
“We are planning a small memorial service for her with our close friends,” says Spelling.
Mimi’s casket will be, yes, pink.
The family, which also includes two rescues, Chiquita and Ferris, won’t be getting a new pooch right away.
“Mimi La Rue is irreplaceable,” Spelling tells us. “Mimi was truly one of a kind and no one can ever take her place.”
We’re sure Mimi and Paw Paw are already swapping stories.
