As the impending birth of their first child nears, Nicole Kidman and hubby Keith Urban have been spotted all over Nashville, Tennessee the past few days.
The cute couple shared an affectionate moment after Kidman’s pregnancy check-up at their local Nashville hospital on Thursday morning (June 5).
According to an eyewitness, “The expectant mother arrived with a blonde assistant and spent an hour inside the facility before Urban arrived to join her. The two had a romantic embrace when they were reunited and Urban even held his wife’s handbag as he kissed her and placed his hand on the small of her back. After chatting for a bit, Keith, who had arrived with three body guards in tow, climbed back into his towncar to speed off to the CMA Festival that he was set to perform at for the night.”
The following day, Nicole’s baby bump was on full display as she and her country crooner hubby went out for an early coffee run in Nashville.
Our insider tells of the scene: “Wearing a sporty black workout ensemble and without makeup, Kidman walked hand-in-hand with Urban, who was the ultimate gentleman. Keith opened the car door for her and helped her into the passenger seat. After her early morning yoga class, Kidman then took to the spa where she got pampered for four hours. After the spa treat, Nic got all dressed up before getting picked up by her hubby, looking refreshed and relaxed.”
And yesterday, the “Cold Mountain” cutie was at it again - grabbing an early morning java pick-me-up before taking to a local shopping center with Urban’s parents and her assistant. After a few hours of shopping, Kidman emerged with a large bag of toys and stuffed animals - no doubt stocking up for her impending arrival!

The couple that travels together, stays togetheror, at least, so says rocky-relationship queen Jessica Simpson.
Pals close to the music scene’s newest country crooner say Jessica is planning a quick summer get away for herself and beau Tony Romo.
“She thinks they need some quality alone time,” says friend of Jess, who is still reeling after her relationship reached the breakup brink.
“She believes a vacation will really do a lot to reconnect them. Tony agreed to go, but it was all Jessica’s idea.”
Timing, however, is a problem. Jessica’s crazy busy with photo shoots and interviews to promote her soon-to-be-released country album. And Tony starts football training camp July 24.
“But she’s determined to squeak out a week together before then,” says her pal. “So if she has to clear the decks on her own schedule to make it happen, she so will.”
Dolly’s Coat of Many Projects
You’d think someone would have thought about launching a line of Dolly Parton makeup a long time ago. But apparently not.
Until now.
“I want my own cosmetics line,” Parton says in the new issue of Billboard.
And there's more, much more. In addition to penning the score for the upcoming Broadway musical version of 9 to 5, the legendary country crooner says she’s working on an autobiographical musical, a weekly kids' TV show as well as children’s music and books.
She just released her new album, Backwoods Barbie, on her own Dolly Records. “When I first came [to Nashville] I really was the backwoods Barbie,” Parton says. “Too much makeup, too much hair, the big boobs, country girl straight out of the mountains. It’s hard to take somebody looking like that serious, I guess, so I had to work double hard to prove myself.”
And as we all know, her hard work throughout her 40-year career has definitely paid off.
The self-financed Dolly Records may be a gamble, but don’t tell that to Parton.
“I just wanted a fresh, clean startjust go ahead and hire independent record people, hire somebody to run the label and really sink some money into it, invest in myself,” she says. “The majors are all going down the tubes. They’re all has-beens like they all thought I was. So why not just do it? If it does well, than I make all the money, and if it don’t, nothing ventured, nothing gained.”

She’s yet another American Idol success story and last night Carrie Underwood showed the world why she’s so lovable.
Clad in a baby blue babydoll dress, the country crooner gave an amazing performance of her hit single “All-American Girl” to the delight of the Curb Events Center crowd.
And while she didn’t win the award she was nominated for, Female Video of the Year (won by Taylor Swift), the night was still a huge success for Underwood.
In an industry where most artists are overnight sensations turned one hit wonders, Carrie has the appeal and staying power to be back at the CMT’s for years to come.
