Mario: Mr. Torn Torso, Only More So
Move over Shirtless Matthew McConaughey because Shirtless Mario Lopez is taking your old shift as People Magazine’s Hottest Bachelor. (Matt is technically not a bachelor anymore, considering that his girlfriend is about to give birth, though gossip reports say Shirtless Matty Mac may still be engaging in some singleton shenanigans.)
But back on the shirtless tip, Mario is supposedly also pants-less in the issue coming out Friday, but we’re guessing his big reveal will be about as revealing as Miley Cyrus’ strategic coverup in Inanity Fair.
Other hot batchelor catches include Spandex centaur Andy Samberg and self-described “most arrogant person you’ll ever meet” Terrence Howard.
But really, it’s all about the abs-surdly ripped Mr. Lopez. So, congrats, Mario. Seems like you broke up with your Dancing With the Stars partner Karina Smirnoff just in time to bag this big honor. Whew! What a lucky coincidence.
Top Chef going on the road
American Idol does it. So You Think You Can Dance does it. Dancing with the Stars does it. And now, Top Chef will hit the road on a nationwide tour. Top Chef? Really? It’s true. Beginning June 21st, the popular Bravo show will embark on a twenty-city tour. The tour will begin on Long Island at the Whole Foods market in Jericho. Top Chef on wheels will feature a customized 18-wheeler semi-truck and “will offer Bravo’s passionate fans and cable affiliate partners with the unique opportunity to experience the hit series in their hometowns.”
Here’s how it will work. In each city, select “chef-testants” from the hit show will do cooking demonstrations, give out gourmet tips, share show secrets and offer food tastings all from the monster truck which includes a state-of-the-art kitchen and can accommodate 38 guests per seating. Every one else can watch from HD screens.

Melanie Brown Lives it Up in Monaco
Melanie Brown Lives it Up in Monaco
It’s been quite a year for Melanie Brown … from an uber-successful Spice Girls reunion to promoting a new line of lingerie, she’s been keeping busy.
And her latest undertaking, promoting Dancing With The Stars in Monte Carlo, seems to be going quite well, judging by the pictures from this morning’s photo call in Monaco.
Scary Spice looked white hot in a white plunging neckline summer dress along with a pair of white peep-toe heels and a big smile.
But as far as her new album/tour are concerned, things aren’t looking quite as bright. Last week Mel told the folks over at GMTV that she’d be touring with Janet Jackson on her upcoming fall tour. However, that may not be the case.
She told press, “I’m ten songs into my album and she [Janet Jackson] worked with me on one of the tracks. I’m also doing a tour of America with her in September, which I can’t wait for. She’s a great lady.”
Unfortunately for Mel, Janet’s management has come out saying that they don’t have any knowledge of such a tour arrangement. We’ll keep you posted.
