Mazzy Star - Fade Into You Video and Lyrics
Fade Into You by Mazzy Star, Music video and Lyrics
Mazzy Star seems to be another one hit band, although one without an actual hit but best known for a single near hit, the ethereal and psychedelic “Fade Into You” romantic waltz, which just missed the top 40 in 1994.

Mazzy Star - Fade Into You Lyrics
I want to hold the hand inside you
I want to take a breath thats true
I look to you and I see nothing
I look to you to see the truth
You live your life
You go in shadows
Youll come apart and youll go black
Some kind of night into your darkness
Colors your eyes with whats not there.
Fade into you
Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think its strange you never knew
A strangers light comes on slowly
A strangers heart without a home
You put your hands into your head
And then smiles cover your heart
Fade into you
Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think its strange you never knew
Fade into you
Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think its strange you never knew
I think its strange you never knew
Sarah Paulson cast in Cupid; Studio 60 fans point and laugh
It’s hard to believe that we’re a full year removed from the glorious mess that was Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. It seemed that the split between “liked it” and “hated it” was about 50-50, but everyone wanted to comment. One thing I noticed in those comments was that, even among the people who liked it, there was a strong sentiment against the performance of Sarah Paulson as Harriet Hayes. Most people just didn’t like the chemistry she had with Matthew Perry, and she didn’t manage to make us care enough about the plight of the über-religious comedian to root for her to connect with anyone.
So, for anyone who’s looking forward to the revival of Rob Thomas’ Cupid, the news that Paulson’s been cast as the female lead on the show has to be disheartening. She’s playing Dr. Claire Allen, the same role Paula Marshall played in the original series, opposite Bobby Cannavale, who is taking over the Cupid role from Jeremy Piven.
The only possible saving grace about this news is that, because Cupid keeps himself celibate, the sexual tension between the doctor and Cupid might be light at best. However, if that was the only issue people had with her turn as Harriet on S60, this wouldn’t be so much of a problem; her performance was often so light and inconsequential that you were just aching her to stretch beyond “annoyed” and “less annoyed.” Maybe she’s learned her lessons from that disaster; she’s also going to be in the movie version of The Spirit, a comic with a lot of darkness and emotional resonance. Hopefully she’ll bring some of what she learned there to the set of Cupid.
Globe-Trotting Natalie Portman
Globe-Trotting Natalie Portman
She was spotted at the 2008 Berlinale International Film Festival this past weekend, and now Natalie Portman is hamming it up in Madrid, Spain.
The “Garden State” cutie showed up at a photocall at the Santo Mauro Hotel in the capital city, along with her “The Other Boleyn Girl” co-star Eric Bana.
Natalie looked adorable in a white with black splatter-paint pattern mini dress complete with strappy shoes and bangle bracelets.
And it sounds like she’s itching to be on the other side of the camera. According to press, Portman is set to make her directorial debut with a new Hebrew-language film called “A Tale of Love and Darkness.”
Christopher Lee Would Return As Saruman For The Hobbit

He may be 86 years old but he still has six movies on the way and could be adding another one (or two). Christopher Lee spoke to Empire about Saruman returning for The Hobbit prequels. Although Saruman doesnt appear in the book, there is the second film which Del Toro and Jackson will be writing to bridge the gap between The Hobbit and the first Lord of the Rings movie.
“I’ve read the books time and again,” said the 86-year-old. “Originally Saruman The White and the rest of the wizards, or the Istari as they call them, were immortal. There were five of them, two of them never appear, I know their names but they never appear, and the only three that are mentioned are Saruman The White, Gandalf The Grey and Radagast The Brown who you never see – so basically it’s two wizards.
“They lived for thousands of years and they were sent to the earth and they are virtually immortal. When it all started, Saruman was the noblest, the finest, the bravest, the most dependable and reliable of them all, he was number one. But somewhere, somehow, and it was never actually explained, he turns and it’s probably the Palantír (the wizard’s crystal ball thingy) that makes Saruman realise that if Sauron can do this, why can’t I do it and Saruman wants to become The Lord Of The Rings himself.”
“I’d be interested in seeing how that transition from good to evil occurred and, yes, of course I would return to the role if I was asked.”
You can tell Lee has read the trilogy every year for the past five decades can’t you?
I suppose it would be quite cool to see Saruman’s decent into darkness. What do you think?
