She’s been through a lot in the past few months, and Michelle Williams looks to be finally coming out of her mourning period.
Following the death of her former fiancé/babydaddy Heath Ledger, the Dawson’s Creek cutie became rather reclusive. However, she was spotted out and about again yesterday with her daughter Matilda Rose.
Michelle looked wary of the surrounding shutterbugs as she pushed her daughter’s stroller sporting a casual printed summer dress with a pair of sandals and aviator sunglasses.
As for her acting career, Miss Williams appears to be ramping up her schedule, with three films in the works: “Mammoth, ” “Blue Valentine,” and “Shutter Island.”

Every once in awhile you have to take a day to just sit back, relax and unwind. And yesterday Michelle Williams treated herself and her daughter to a leisurely afternoon.
The Dawson’s Creek babe and her little girl Matilda were spotted strolling through New York City on Sunday afternoon, enjoying the beautiful weather.
And Miss Williams looked cute and casual in a circa 1980s ensemble including a pale pink short-sleeved blouse, braided leather belt, and a pair of long denim cutoffs.
Since the death of her fiancé/babydaddy Heath Ledger, Michelle has been working with Australian director Gregor Jordan to establish the Heath Ledger Scholarship Fund to help struggling Aussie actors.
Jordan told press, “It’s going to involve a number of benefactors and there’s been a lot of interest already. I was talking to Michelle Williams, his partner and the mother of his child, today and Michelle has said she would be very proud and happy to be the first benefactor.”

Katie Holmes was spotted last night at Berlin’s Tempelhof airport, preparing to board a private plane.
Dressed in a gold babydoll dress, the Dawson’s Creek actress has been keeping busy while in Germany - which could end up becoming a longer stay than was first expected.
According to recent reports, Tom Cruise has been informed that he has to re-shoot large portions of his movie Valkyrie.
A spokeswoman for the film’s production company told German newspaper Bild: “A majority of the film material is unusable, we have to film it again.”

It looks like Katie Holmes needed a change of scenery. She’s been spending tons of time in Western Europe, where her husband Tom Cruise has been filming “Valkyrie.” But yesterday the Dawson’s Creek cutie was in the Big Apple.
Katie wore a completely black ensemble, topped off by a trench coat and large purse. Her big “movie star” sunglasses hid the eyes of the marathon runner.
That’s right, the “Teaching Mrs. Tingle” actress is in preparations to take on the New York City Marathon. She’s been training for months, and is rumored to be planning on participating this November 4th.
Why so soon? Well, it’s been rumored that Katie is expecting another child. And if that’s the case, she won’t be in “game shape” this time next year.
Of course, Holmes is denying the rumors. Her spokesperson told press, “She is not pregnant.” But you never know. Katie has been open about her desire to have another child. A source told press, “Katie told me she wants another child with (Tom). She talks about it a lot. But I do not know when exactly they plan to have another baby.”
