Britney Spears and K-Fed: Headed Back to Court
With all of the celebrity restaurant appearances these days, you gotta wonder - does anyone cook anymore? Last night, Britney Spears was spotted out to dinner at Sur restaurant in West Hollywood.
The “Gimme More” songstress looked flirty in a black-with-embroidered-designs minidress teamed with a pair of massive platform heels and an oversized black handbag.
Meanwhile, her ex-hubby Kevin Federline was spotted on the opposite coast, doing a little shopping with some guy pals in Miami, Florida. He looked cool and relaxed in a baggy grey t-shirt along with a pair of shorts and white sneakers.
As far as their ongoing custody case, it seems Brit and Kevin are indeed headed back to court this August. A recent meeting with a mediator reportedly wasn’t enough to settle things.
K-Fed’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told press, “The mediation didn’t result in an agreement that would avoid the trial set in August … The mood was comfortable, positive and it was a mood that was consistent with opening at least a great dialogue, which is necessary.”
The Dark Knight’s Wizard World Chicago Trailer

The movie trailer for The Dark Knight which was shown at last year’s Wizard World Chicago
has finally been released online. It’s packed without a lot of action, very little dialogue, and the tease of two-face at the conclusion. It is kind of fitting that the final Dark Knight movie trailer is one that premiered almost a year ago.
Missing Lost? Read a book!
ABC wants Lost fans to spend the show’s long hiatus curled up with a good book. The network has created the Lost Book Club, a resource for viewers who want to know more about the drama’s numerous literary references. The book club website contains a list of the books seen or referred to on Lost. You can peruse the list according to season or based on a number of categories (background, dialogue, and show theme).
In a brief letter to fans, executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse mentioned that the club is informal and that the books should be used to enhance the Lost experience, not provide answers to the show’s mysteries.
Each book description includes a reminder of where and when the book appeared on Lost and provides a short synopsis of the work. Another fun feature of the book club site is a message board that fans can use to discuss the relevance of books like Through the Looking Glass and A Brief History of Time. With over fifty books listed, the club should keep any die-hard fan busy for quite a while.
I’m not sure if I’ll get around to reading Bonjour, Babar, but some of the most frequently mentioned books are worth a closer look.
