Rising Disney stars/BFFs Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez have made the trip up north to Toronto, Ontario, as the duo arrived arm-in-arm to their hotel on Thursday afternoon (July 3).
With her Wizards of Waverly Place pal there for support, Miss Lovato is readying for her opening act duties for the Jonas Brothers - with the tour kicking off at the Molson Amphitheatre later tonight.
The North America tour then heads to the States, beginning with a show in Clarkston, Michigan on Saturday night - finally wrapping up on September 5 with a show in West Palm Beach.
As for Lovato, the blooming singer recently told press that “most of the music she’s interested in is too dark to make it on a Disney album” - so, as the story goes, she “turned to the Jonas Brothers to lighten her act up.”

Well, it’s official. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are the cutest couple to come out of Disney-land since Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears left the Mickey Mouse Club.
The “Seventeen” stud and his singer/actress girlfriend were on the red carpet yesterday in Los Angeles for the DVD release of High School Musical 2.
They wore matching leather jackets, another reminder of the Justin/Britney romance (remember when they got all decked out in the denim outfits for an awards show?), and smiled pretty for the camera. And from the sound of it, there will be yet another HSM installment for these two to get rich off of.
Vanessa recently told press that she’s really excited about the prospect of High School Musical 3. “To do a third one for the big screen, I can’t begin to think how much fun we’ll have.”
And it sounds like the whole crew is up for it. “Only a few people have actually signed the contracts … [But] we’re all definitely on board.”

The rehearsing cast of High School Musical 3 took a snack break at local Salt Lake City pizza parlor Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana last Tuesday, News has learned.
Disney stars Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens patronized the joint and split a margherita pizza and salad, with the total bill coming to less than $20 bucks.
And according to Mike the manager, the girls left a very generous tip, doubling the actual bill. "They were supernice and generous and left a big tip. Really big. Really nice of them."
OK, so maybe they're a little like us…but a lot more generous!

And what better way to celebrate the occasion than with a classy dinner out at Orso with co-star girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
Despite rumors of a split, the Disney stars seemed as close as ever, as they laughed and held hands throughout the evening.
Let’s just hope that Disney’s telling the truth, as it would be heartbreaking to split these two lovebirds up for the upcoming High School Musical 3!
