Angelina Jolie is “Doing Very Well”

Angelina Jolie is “Doing Very Well”

It’s one of the most anticipated births in Hollywood history, and this morning Angelina Jolie’s doctor addressed the press with an update on her condition.

Dr. Michel Sussmann was pleased to announce that things were going according to plan with the upcoming births of Brangelina’s twins (rumored to be both girls).

He told press, “Everything is normal.  She is very well, and she’s okay. … Brad and Angelina want everyone to know that everything is going well,” adding that the babies will arrive “in the weeks to come.”

To clarify Sussman commented, “It is simply a visit of surveillance, no birth.  She will stay in the hospital until the birth.  I will stay with her.” He also said that Ang is “very, very nice.”

When asked about the specific due date, Sussman stated, “This is something you can’t program, you never know for sure.”

Minnie Driver to Raise Baby in America

Minnie Driver to Raise Baby in America

Still keeping mum on the name of her babydaddy, Minnie Driver was spotted out and about in Santa Monica, California yesterday picking up some takeout food.

Rocking a sleeveless green maternity top and black and white striped pajama pants, the “Good Will Hunting” babe seemed annoyed by the swarming paparazzi, doing her best to shield herself from the shutterbugs.

Miss Driver recently told press that she’d changed her mind regarding where she planned to raise her soon-to-be-born from the UK to the USA.  “I’m fully planning on having my baby there. I’ve made my home in America; I love it.”

And according to reports, Driver is less than two months away from giving birth, with a due date estimated to be sometime at the end of August.

Will Jack Be Missing Chloe on 24?

Chloe Morris 24Even though 24 isn’t actually coming back on the air for another, what is it? Nine years? Ten? (Okay, January ’09, but still), there’s news coming out about next season. While a very pregnant Mary Lynn Rajskub, who plays Chloe, has already begun filming on Day 7 of the series, Rajskub’s impending due date will force her to take a hiatus from Jack Bauer’s really long, bad day. So who’s going to lie for Jack and help him out with all of his nerd toys? None other than Chloe’s sourpuss ex, Morris O’Brian (Carlo Rota).

Morris, who on Day 6 was kidnapped by terrorists, forced to arm a nuclear weapon, slipped up on his sobriety, broke up with Chloe, found out that he was going to be a daddy and got back together with Chloe, will be having some problems of his own come Day 7.

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILER AFTER THE JUMP

According to sources, it’s a family emergency that forces the Chloe/Morris switch-off. Chloe gets called away for a few hours to go help her and Morris’ daughter with an unspecified problem. While we don’t know what exactly the nature of the emergency is, since it’s 24, you can pretty much bet that it’s not a toothache or a lost lunch. Luckily, Rajskub must be planning a really short maternity leave, as she’s only scheduled to miss a few episodes, with Rota filling in for a “handful” of hours beginning mid-season.

Gwen Stefani’s Family Day at the Park

Gwen Stefani’s Family Day at the Park

Inching closer and closer to her due date, Gwen Stefani was spotted out at a north London park on Monday (June 23), getting in a little quality family time.

During the course of the outing, the “Hollaback Girl” singer took a moment to rest on a bench while hubby Gavin Rossdale, 42, took their 2-year-old son Kingston for a go at the playground equipment.

The musically inclined couple are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their second child later this summer, but then it’s time to get back in shape for the 38-year-old Stefani.

According Gavin, his bride will unfortunately ‘be under immense media pressure to lose her baby weight” as soon as possible after giving birth.

Rossdale says: “Yeah, she does (feel under pressure). I mean, she’s just so dedicated and she’s just amazing with that stuff (weight loss). It’s very hard because everyone’s so judged the whole time.”
