Tony Parker a Global Baller in ’09
Here’s something else for the couple to hang in their den next to Eva Longoria Parker’s In Style, Glamour and Self covers.
After five stints as the face of pixilated basketball in France, the actress’ two-time NBA All-Star hubby Tony Parker has been chosen to grace the cover of the global edition of Electronic Arts’ NBA Live 09.
Meaning, Parker’s 26-year-old mug and San Antonio Spurs uniform will be frontin’ in North America for the first time, starting Oct. 7, and then everywhere else where video games are sold Oct. 14.
“I have a long history with EA Sports,” the Belgian-born, French-bred Parker said. “I’ve been on the cover in France for five years straight, and I’ve been playing NBA Live for as long as I’ve played basketball. It’s a real honor for me as a European player to now be represented on the worldwide cover.”

He comes from a long line of athletes, and yesterday Tony Parker, along with wife Eva Longoria, was back in his home country of France to cheer on his brother TJ.
The Longoria-Parkers looked cute as they sat courtside for the Ligue Nationale de Basketball Pro A Championship Finals game between Chorale Roanne Basket and Stade Lorrain universite Club Nancy (TJ Parker’s team). And in the end, SLUC Nancy took home the title. If only the Spurs could have done that!
Eva and Tony publicly displayed their affection for each other throughout the game, cuddling in each other’s arms and even kissing a few times.
Following the game, the Desperate Housewives hottie and her NBA hubby headed out to the L Club in Paris to celebrate the victory. Eva looked chic in a button-up top and slim-fit jeans, while Tony sported a black t-shirt, black hoodie, and a pair of relaxed fit jeans.

The “Over Her Dead Body” actress was spotted spending some serious Euros at the Yves Saint Laurent and Gerard Darel boutiques in the City of Lights.
Longoria clearly had her game face on as she combed the racks, sporting a beige rolled-sleeve pullover with a pair of khaki trousers and chunky high-heeled sandals.
Yesterday, Eva and her hubby Tony Parker watched as Tony’s brother TJ and his team Stade Lorrain Universite Club Nancy won the Ligue Nationale de Basketball Pro A Championship Finals.

With her Desperate Housewives gig on hiatus and his San Antonio Spurs out of the NBA playoffs, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are taking advantage of their time off by traveling.
And the happily married couple has been living it up in Parker’s home country of France, spending tons of time as of late in the capital city of Paris.
Last night, the “Over Her Dead Body” hottie and her hubby were spotted at the Parisian premiere of the new Will Smith/Charlize Theron flick “Hancock,” which is slated for a July 2nd release here in the States.
After the premiere, Eva and Tony headed out to the Zinedine Zidane Limited Edition IWC Watch Launch Party at the swanky Palais de Chaillot. For being on vacation, these two seem to have a lot of industry–related activities!
