Miley Cyrus Talks Topless Photo Scandal
Everyone is entitled to their fair share of mistakes, especially at a young age. And Miley Cyrus recently opened up about the whole Vanity Fair photo scandal from earlier this year.
The “Hannah Montana” babe told press, “I was embarrassed… but also it’s like, every career thing that I do can’t be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong.”
Miss Cyrus also said that she hopes her fallibility will help her fanbase realize that she’s flawed just like everybody else. “I don’t think people will look at me any differently because they’re like, ‘You know what, I’m going to do stupid stuff too, and I’m going to make mistakes, and that’s fine.’”
As for her status as a role model for young women, she says she’s flattered but, “that doesn’t mean that I’m not going to make mistakes and do things that everyone’s going to be happy with … there’s no such thing as perfection.”
Just like any career-minded entertainer, Miley has been pondering the question of what’s next. “I’ve been talking to people about some cool movies, but right now I mostly want to stay within my company and keep them happy and keep everything that we’re doing successful and focus on that. I like to do everything that I do 120 percent and unless I can focus hardcore on that, I don’t want to do it yet.”

While he’s been one of the most successful hip-hop artists/producers/franchisers in the history of the genre, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has also had his fair share of downfalls.
Most recently, the Sean John proprietor had a bit of a scuffle at a New York City nightclub. But he’s telling it like it is, rather than allowing the media to have their way with it.
Diddy told press, “It was something that was just totally overblown … I don’t fight over girls! I got into an argument, I am a human being. I am going to get into an argument. I am making no denial about that, but I did not punch anybody.”
Combs said that the police were involved, briefly. “They looked into it,” he said. “There are so many other things going on in the city.”
But he’s not letting the negative press keep him down. “I’m staying focused on being a role model and you know, being somebody that all my grandmas and aunties out there can be proud of and tell their kids to look up to you, know what I’m saying,” he added. “I mean it is a part of celebrity … but it just wasn’t true.”

M.K. Defends Sibling Rivalry, Fashion Faux Pas
Mary-Kate Olsen somehow managed to break free from her birth-canal pal and fly solo in Elle magazine’s July issue.
But this separation of Tinseltown’s twin titans is only temporary, as they have not one, but, naturally, two clothing lines to runwhich, Mary-Kate admits, comes with its fair share of friction.
“We don’t agree all the time,” says Mary-Kate of her working relationship with sister Ashley.
“The way we go about business or designing or making a decision is that we come at it from two completely different angles that at the end of the day, even when we don’t think we’re agreeing with each other, we are agreeing. We’re just getting there in different ways.
“Unless you’re a twin,” she adds, “you honestly can’t know how close twins can be.”
Close, maybe. But, of the two, Mary-Kate is definitely more the free spiritfrom where she prefers to do business (”I do know I can’t work in an office. Ashley, on the other hand, loves going to the office”) to her sometimes, okay, make that always, devil-may-care bohemian fashion choices.
“I think there’s a real disconnect between the media’s perception of fashion and the fashion world’s idea of fashion,” argues Mary-Kate. “I don’t know why I wear some of the things I wear…it’s sort of like an art.”
Oh M.K., doncha know? All great artists are misunderstood.
