Holy Rollin’ With Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt
Holy Rollin’ With Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt
We’re used to seeing these two gallivanting on the beach or making out in public, but yesterday Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt sought forgiveness for their sins at church.
The peroxide pair, along with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton of all people, were spotted attending the morning service at In His Presence church in Woodland Hills, California.
And it seems that Miss Montag got the memo that cleavage in church is a no-no, as she sported a conservative sleeveless white top with a knee-length skirt and flats, while Spencer wore a striped button-up oxford shirt and dark trousers.
Oddly enough, both Spencer and Heidi both carried Bibles with them, perhaps a sign that they’re getting serious about their faith now that they’ve decided to get married.
A Blond, a Bimbo and a Blogger Walk Into a Church…
Unfortunately, this is not a joke. Or is it?
It seems The Hills’ Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag decided to form a, um, trinity with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton to attend a Sunday-morning church service.
Now, far be it from us to question a person’s faith, but not since Paris Hilton strategically toted around the Holy Bible in public prior to her jail sentence last year have we felt this suspicious about one’s religious intentions. After all, two of them live their lives like one big photo op and the other has made a career out of drawing penises on pictures of famous folks.
Then again, maybe they were just asking for forgiveness.
Will Smith: The Next Big Hollywood Scientologist?
Will Smith: The Next Big Hollywood Scientologist?
The next time you answer your front door, Will Smith may be standing there with a stack of pamphlets trying to recruit you to join the Church of Scientology.
That’s right, the “I Am Legend” actor has always been dodgy when it comes to his faith, but given the fact that he passed out “Free Scientology Personality Test” coupons as presents to crewmembers on the “Hancock” film shoot, his association with the church is undeniable.
He recently told press, “I was introduced to it (Scientology) by Tom (Cruise), and I’m a student of world religion. I was raised in a Baptist household. I went to a Catholic school, but the ideas of the Bible are 98 per cent the same ideas of Scientology, 98 per cent the same ideas of Hinduism and Buddhism.”
And while his “estimation” of commonalities between the Bible and Scientology are nowhere near accurate, you have to wonder why he’s not being as bold about his involvement with the Church of Scientology as his “Mission Impossible” actor pal.
Tom Cruise: Scientology’s Tony Robbins
Tom Cruise: Scientology’s Tony Robbins
Just in case you weren’t convinced of Tom Cruise’s utter devotion to his Scientology faith, a new video clip has been released of an interview with the “Risky Business” actor.
According to the clip, Tom is all about waking the world up to the insight and clarity that comes with “earning” your way into becoming a Scientologist.
He said, “I think it’s a privilege to call yourself a Scientologist, and it’s something that you have to earn because a Scientologist does… has the ability to create new and better realities and improve conditions. Being a Scientologist, you look at someone and know absolutely that you can help them.”
“Being a Scientologist, when you drive past an accident… you know you have to do something about it because you know you’re the only one that can really help. But that’s what drives me… I know that we have an opportunity to really help… effectively change people’s lives and I am dedicated to that. I am absolutely, uncompromisingly dedicated to that. We have a responsibility. We are the authorities on getting people off drugs, we are the authorities on the mind, we are the authorities on improving conditions… we can rehabilitate criminals….we can bring peace and unite cultures.”
And Cruise says there’s just something that drives him to share his faith with others. “I have to do it because I can’t live with myself if I don’t, and that really is it. So it’s our responsibility to educate, create the new reality. We have that responsibility to say, ‘Hey, this is the way it should be done because we do it this way and people are actually getting better.’ And let’s get it done. Let’s really get it done and have enough love and compassion and toughness that you’re really going to do it and do it right.”
