A far cry from the overbearing, borderline-psychotic adoptive-mother-to-be she played in Juno, Jennifer Garner looked happy and relaxed to be spending time with her little girl yesterday.
The “Alias” hottie was spotted doing a little mother-daughter bonding with 2 ½-year-old Violet Affleck at the Brentwood Country Mart in Brentwood, California.
And she looked blissfully domestic in a white top underneath a beige cardigan with a black knee-length skirt and a pair of black flats, while Violet rocked a red and white summery dress with a pair of tiny white sneakers.
As for Jen’s hubby Ben Affleck, he was scheduled to film a segment along with his buddy Matt Damon for an ongoing Jimmy Kimmel Live lampooning at Game 4 of the NBA Finals last night.

Eva Mendes is ready to be a Bad girl.
The actress is in talks to reunite with her Ghost Rider partner Nicolas Cage for Werner Herzog’s update of Abel Ferrara’s 1992 pulp classic, The Bad Lieutenant, Variety reports.
Little is known about the 34-year-old beauty’s role, but it should be a far cry from her and Cage’s family-friendly comic-book collaboration. If this Lieutenant is anything like its predecessor, expect plenty of skin, not to mention a heaping helping of profanity.
The original Bad Lieutenant starred Harvey Keitel as a corrupt New York detective with a penchant for gambling, drugs and sex, who decides to seek out redemption while investigating a nun’s rape.
Mendes next hits theaters in September, costarring with Meg Ryan and Annette Bening in a remake of George Cuckor’s The Women. That will be followed by another comic-based flick, Frank Miller’s The Spirit, due out at the end of the year.
Shooting on The Bad Lieutenant kicks off in late summer.

When you’re rich, beautiful, and your last name is Hilton, jet-setting around the world is less of a big deal, and more of a way of life.
Sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton spent the holidays in Hawaii with their family, returning to Los Angeles Express Airport yesterday (December 27).
Upon her return, Nicky was spotted picking up a few items at Intermix on Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood, prior to a night of clubbing.
And Paris appeared to be refreshed and renewed as she exited LAX, sporting a bright yellow tiny t-shirt and some baggy jeans - a far cry from her glitzy clubbing gear of last night as she made her way to Goa and Villa with her sis via SUV limousine.
In light of the recent inheritance bomb that was dropped on the Hiltons (i.e. they won’t be receiving 97% of their grandfather’s fortune, due to his decision to donate it to charity) the girls are handling things reasonably well. But, then again, their dad’s worth about $300 million, so things should be just fine.

A far cry from her previous night’s red Escada dress, Katherine sported a grey sweater/blue jeans combination as she toted a retro-riffic light fixture into her remodeled pad.
At the 2008 Oscars, the “Knocked Up” actress received a special honor from Access Hollywood. Nancy O’Dell told Heigl, “You know, you won ‘Access Hollywood’s’ No. 1 best dressed!”
And the “27 Dresses” actress replied, “Yay! That’s Awesome! I’m so very grateful to all those who voted for me, who believed in me, who brought me here today. I wouldn’t be who I am without them. Yay!”
