Drawing a close to her visit to New York City, Jessica Simpson packed her bags and headed over to LaGuardia airport on Wednesday to fly back to Dallas, Texas.
As one final stop before her departure, the “Come On Over” singer made time for lunch with a few friends at the Mexican restaurant Dos Caminos in Soho.
Meanwhile, Miss Simpson recently revealed plans to launch a lingerie line as an addition to her existing fashion products.
Jessica told Women’s Wear Daily: “I like different lingerie for different occasions. I think that’s the best thing about it. You can feel sexy or girly depending on your mood.”
Press reports tell that the range, named Jessica Simpson’s Intimates, will hit shelves in major department stores in the US and online beginning spring 2009.

Ghost Whisperer actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has decided to try her hand in the fashion world, partnering with Stone America to create a new line called the “Timeless” Collection.
“I came up with the idea of ‘Timeless’ because I wanted to create a fashion collection that speaks of elegance and lasting style, but still shows off today’s fashions and trends,” Jennifer said in a press statement. “With this fashion collection, young women will feel both sophisticated and stylish for years to come - TIMELESS!”
Love Hewitt and Stone America are in the process of attempting to secure an exclusive retailer relationship and/or a master apparel license. The plan is for “Timeless” to begin as an apparel line, expanding into other areas to include, but not limited to, accessories, health and beauty, and jewelry.
“Our goal is to establish the Jennifer Love Hewitt “Timeless” Collection into an ageless classic line that carries key elements of comfort, quality, fashion and value, and captures her natural energy, beauty and passion,” said Robert A. Stone, president of Stone America Licensing.
