Sheryl Crow Driven by Mustangs
Sheryl Crow thinks all horses should be free to soak up the sun.
The Detours artist has joined Viggo Mortensen and Peter Coyote as a host of the upcoming Documentary Channel feature Saving the American Wild Horse, which examines the animals’ history in the U.S. and questions their fate as the government deems more and more roaming land off-limits.
“I think it will be a real shame when we look back and we don’t have these incredible species, and I guess my best hope would be that people, individuals, step up at this point and really protect these animals,” Crow, who keeps a wild mustang named Colorado on her Nashville-area farm, says on the program, which premieres July 7.
“We’re starting to get really, really far away from our heritage and what this country is based on…If any of these politicians visited these sites where our indigenous animals are being slaughtered in an inhumane way and being sold for meat, I feel that there would be a different take and a different approach to what’s happening.”
Wanted To Become A Trilogy?

I saw Wanted the other day and I enjoyed it. Good action, nice twist towards the end and of course, Angelina Jolie. It seems a lot of people thought the same as me because it did rather well for an R-Rated movie. It is the second biggest opening that didn’t reach number #1 (damn you Wall-E!) and has already made back its budget with a total of $90 million as I type.
Universal are currently choking on money, and when they finally spit it out there is a good chance they will be wanting more. (See what I did there? The movie is called Wanted and I said ‘wanting’ and made it italic…I’m hilarious!)
Cinema Blend are saying that a source told them that Universal want to go international next time round. Spoilers below.
For the sequels their idea is to take Wanted international, and have James McAvoy’s Wesley character fighting Fraternity cells all over the world. It seems Sloane isn’t the only Fraternity leader who has been ignoring the instructions of fate, it’s something that’s been happening for centuries, and that means a lot of Sloane’s peers are now pretty pissed off at Wesley.

It’s surprising, since by the end of the film both Jolie and Freeman’s characters are quite definitively dead. That’s no barrier for Hollywood though. The plan is to involve them in flashbacks which will explore the past of Angelina Jolie’s Fox, and allow us to meet the man who trained and recruited her. That person could become a major villain in the sequels, which would explain the flashback links to Jolie and Freeman.
Bring it on I say!
Taylor Dayne Cops a Plea in DUI Case
Taylor Dayne can tell it to her probation officer now.
The Can’t Fight Fate singer pleaded no contest Monday to one count of reckless driving in connection with her recent bust on suspicion of DUI.
Calling it the “appropriate disposition of this particular case,” a judge sentenced Dayne to two years’ summary probation and ordered her to complete a Mothers Against Drunk Driving program, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
Dayne was arrested March 6 in Beverly Hills after police observed her driving erratically and pulled her over, per the official report.
Morgan Freeman: ‘Shoot This Motherf**cker’
We’ve heard Morgan Freeman say the words fate, fraternity and flies in previous Wanted trailers, but never this F word! In a new R-Rated trailer Morgan Freeman gets all Samuel L Jackson on us by demanding someone shoot someone else who he is obviously not keen on….if you know what I mean.
As with most R-Rated trailers there’s blood, violence and keyboard attacks. Enjoy!
