With the beautiful summer weather in full-effect we’ve been seeing more and more of Jennifer Garner and her daughter Violet out enjoying the sunshine.
Yesterday morning, the “Alias” babe and her 2-year-old were smiling bright as they meandered around town, running errands and stopping into local shops.
Mommy Garner looked cute and casual in a black sundress with a white lace fringe around the bottom teamed with a pair of sandals, while Violet rocked a bright pink top with dark shorts and a pair of Velcro-equipped pink shoes.
These days, Jen is proving that she’s not just a pretty face by taking on the role of film producer. Together with gal pal Juliana Janes, she recently inked a first-look deal with Warner Brothers’ Vandalia Films production company.
Reportedly, they’re going to be considering two projects right away- “Arranged” is about a modern-day arranged marriage, and “3 Days in Europe” is a romantic adventure following a couple as they face danger and excitement on what was supposed to be the perfect Valentine’s Day vacation.

Swapping between of selection of sexy outfits, Lindsay Lohan continued work on the set of her new movie “Labor Pains” in Hollywood on Monday (June 23).
In the upcoming comedy, Lohan plays “a publishing house employee who escapes getting fired by pretending to be pregnant.”
In a recent interview with People Magazine, the film’s producer, Lati Grobman, offered her praises, saying:”She’s so natural at what she does. I’ve never seen one take where she’s off. The difference between her and the other girls that are naughty in the business is that she’s actually talented.
Grobman continued to tell: “It’s not [like] Paris Hilton and the rest of them. We took the chance. It’s good that we did. So far, so good.”

Nicole Richie spent last night (November 1) enjoying a meal out with talent agent/film producer Benny Medina.
The 7-months-pregnant former Simple Life star and her companion chose to dine at the always popular Il Sole restaurant in West Hollywood.
Meanwhile, Nicole’s rocker boyfriend Joel Madden recently spoke to People magazine about reports claiming that he and Nicole were running into troubled waters in their relationship.
“(We’re) really happy,” he said, adding, “Everything else that the others have printed has been completely false.”
Melanie ’Scary Spice’ Brown Welcomes a Girl
Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown welcomed a baby girl early Tuesday, PEOPLE has confirmed.
“The baby is completely healthy with a good head of hair,” a rep for Brown said in a statement.
“Mother and baby are now resting. No name has been decided on as yet and she is purely known as Baby Brown.”
Brown, 31, was taken to Saint John’s Hospital in Santa Monica at around 5.30 p.m. Monday and the baby was born just after midnight Tuesday, the rep said.
The new arrival – who weighed in at 5 lb., 4 oz. – joins 8-year-old sister Phoenix Chi, Brown’s daughter with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar.
“Both mother and baby are expected to leave the hospital in the next few days and are looking forward to going back home,” Brown’s mother tells PEOPLE.
The paternity of the new baby, however, is in question. Brown has said her ex-boyfriend, Eddie Murphy – who shares a birthday with the infant and turned 46 on Tuesday – is the father, but he has questioned that claim.
“I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test,” Murphy said on a Dutch TV show in December when asked about impending fatherhood. “You shouldn’t jump to conclusions, sir.”
Brown later released a statement saying she was “upset and distressed” by Murphy’s comments.
In March, Murphy’s new girlfriend, film producer Tracey Edmonds, told Chicago’s Power 92 radio station of Murphy and Brown: “Without me getting too deep into it, they had a quick relationship before I even got into that, before I got into a relationship with Eddie. So that’s like their business that’s going on. There’ll be a paternity test and if it’s his then he’ll be responsible.”
