Pink Only Writes For REAL Singers, Not Britney Spears

Stupid Girls singer Pink has jumped back into the headlines the only way that she seems to know how - bringing Britney Spears’ name into the mix. While trying to keep things as respectful as possible, which we applaud, Pink told of how precious her songs are to her, stating that she’d never write for the likes of Britney… only REAL singers.

And while it is apparent from the lip-syncing Hard Rock tour and Lauper concert pullout that Britney may not be the best with the vocals, there is still reason to question why Pink would make such a statement - especially with Britney’s current mental health.

Pink, whose real name is Alicia Moore, told WENN about not giving up her songs, “(It’s) not because I don’t like (Spears) - I do think she’s crazy enough to do one of my songs.”

“But it’s very hard for me to let go of my songs, and the only people I write for are real singers - not that she’s not a real singer, but she’s more of an entertainer.”

And in a final attempt to clarify herself, Pink added: “When I mean real singers, I mean the likes of Lauryn Hill, Faith Hill,” she said. “And I’d write for Amy Winehouse, because you need serious attitude to carry off the dumb stuff I write about.”

Ashlee Simpson Stops By “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Ashlee Simpson Stops By “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Recently engaged and possibly pregnant, Ashlee Simpson paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! in New York City on Thursday afternoon (April 24).

Wearing a blue hoodie and skin-tight jeans, the 23-year-old Texas native was on hand to promote her new album, Bittersweet World.

Meanwhile, the previous day during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ashlee refused to questions concerning her pregnancy status.

Ellen asked the Pieces Of Me singer “Are you or are you not pregnant?” with Ashlee replying, “Well, that has been going on for quite a while. That is something that I choose personally not to discuss.”

Making one final attempt to catch Ashlee off guard, Ellen asked, “Is it a boy or a girl?”

Not falling into Ellen’s trap, the younger Simpson sister responded: “You’re funny.”
