Mandy Moore Talks Balance
Mandy Moore Talks Balance
As she made her way to the CW11 studios in New York City this morning for her appearance on the Morning News program, Mandy Moore looked confident and classy.
The “Candy” singer wore a cream colored woven wool coat overtop her black blouse/black pants combo and carried a bright red handbag.
Moore recently told press that the key to her fulfillment is making time for herself. “We all struggle with finding time for ourselves between family and friends and work and all those other obligations, and we neglect ourselves.
And Mandy revealed that balance is something she strives to find in the midst of her full-plate lifestyle. “Having that sense of balance in life between personal and all that other stuff is kind of essential to leading a happy life.”

Mandy Moore’s Goal To Help Women
Fresh off the launch of a new Website designed to help women balance their lives, Mandy Moore was spotted out and about Manhattan last night (February 19).
The Because I Said So actress wore a light pair of jeans with an off-white sweater jacket, capped off with an eye-grabbing red handbag.
Meanwhile, of the new Website, PumpItUp.com, Moore says that the aim to help women balance their “wellness” by sharing stories which challenge and inspire each other to better their lives. Mandy explained that she hoped women would realize they are “worthy of taking time” for themselves.
“We all struggle with finding time for ourselves between family and friends and work and all those other obligations and we neglect ourselves. Having that sense of balance in life between personal and all that other stuff is kind of essential to leading a happy life,” said Moore.
Jason Reitman says No Juno Sequel
The Hollywood rumor-mill is starting to spin the idea of a Juno sequel. You might be scratching you head wondering: Why would they even consider making a Juno sequel anyway?
Juno has taken in over $136 million at the box office. By the end of its theatrical run, Juno will likely have grossed more (domestically) than Superbad, Enchanted, Bee Movie, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Live Free or Die Hard, Hairspray, Ocean’s Thirteen, Ghost Rider, Beowulf, SAW IV, Halloween, Sweeney Todd, and Resident Evil: Extinction. And I’m sure we’ll see another Fantastic Four movie, and they’re already prepping two more SAW films.
But director Jason Reitman wants no part of a sequel, citing possible story problems.
“I can’t see it. She got pregnant once; I just can’t see her getting pregnant again,” Reitman told the New York Post.
And with Diablo Cody being the IT screenwriter of the moment, I don’t think she’ll be finding time to work on a potential continuation. That’s not to say that the studio might not demand a sequel (hey, it’s easy money). And didn’t Searchlight proceed on a sequel to 28 Days Later without Danny Boyle’s participation? (Boyle was technically credited as executive producer). Readers are telling me that I’m incorrect about Boyle’s lack of involvement.
Juno is a much different entity and I don’t see any sequel talk progressing without the interest of Cody or Reitman. Kevin Smith made a Clerks II more than a decade after the release of the first film. So you never know if a story might present itself later on which may lead to a cinematic reunion.
Angelina Jolie: UN Goodwill Ambassador In Iraq
Angelina Jolie: UN Goodwill Ambassador In Iraq
Angelina Jolie spent Tuesday visiting Iraqi refugees and US troops stationed in Iraq while acting as a United Nation’s Goodwill Ambassador. Angelina has a long history of supporting the United Nations humanitarian programs, and it appears she felt the need to get a first hand look at the current situation in the war-torn country.
The Beowulf actress flew into the region yesterday, with her first stop being Syria and then continuing on to Iraq. While in Syria, Angelina met with Iraqi refugees as well as witnessed additional refugees crossing the border.
“I have come to Syria and Iraq to help draw attention to the humanitarian crisis and to urge governments to increase their support for UNHCR and its partners,” Jolie said in a statement. “My sole purpose in both countries is to highlight the plight of those uprooted by the war in Iraq.”
With an extremely busy schedule, it appears that Angelina is finding a happy balance between her work, family, and humanitarian efforts. After hosting a charity event over the weekend in NY for Brad Pitt’s Make It Right project, Angelina flew to the Middle East, while still finding time to spend with her family.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt took Zahara on a NYC carriage ride while Ang was out of the country.
