Jennie Garth Goes Flying with the Family

Jennie Garth Goes Flying with the Family

Taking a break from her busy schedule with the new “Beverly Hills: 90210″ spin-off, Jennie Garth was spotted with her husband Peter Facinelli and daughters Lola Ray, Luca Bella, and Fiona Eve arriving at LAX International Airport yesterday.

And the mother-of-three was looking like she had her hands full as she sported a flirty blue casual spaghetti strap sundress along with a green scarf and movie star sunglasses.

Speaking of her 90210 reprise, Garth recently told press that even though she’d had some drama with costar Shannen Doherty in the past, she’s not letting that stop her from looking forward to working with her on the new series.

Jennie commented, “A lot of time has passed, and I’m a big girl. I’d have no problem with her coming on the show.” Translation - they’ll have separate trailers on opposite sides of the lot!

Away From Her Movie Trailer

Away From Her

One of the talked about films at Toronto and Sundance this year was the directorial debut of actress Sarah Polley. I was unable to catch the film at the fest, but Lionsgate has just released the movie trailer for the film online. Watch it after the jump.

The official synopsis: Married for almost 50 years, Grant (Gordon Pinsent) and Fionas (Julie Christie) commitment to each other appears unwavering, and their everyday life is full of tenderness and humor. This serenity is broken only by the occasional, carefully restrained reference to the past, giving a sense that this marriage may not always have been such a fairy tale. This tendency of Fionas to make such references, along with her increasingly evident memory loss, creates a tension that is usually brushed off casually by both of them. But when it is no longer possible for either of them to ignore the fact that Fiona is being consumed by Alzheimers disease, the limits of their love and loyalty must be wrenchingly redefined.

The movie also stars Wendy Crewson, Michael Murphy, Kristen Thomson, and Alberta Watson.

Away From Her will hit theaters on May 4th, 2007.

Timberlake and Diaz Make Nice For Shrek 3 Premiere

Timberlake and Diaz Make Nice For Shrek 3 Premiere

Whenever you break up with someone you’ve been with for a substantial length of time there’s always those awkward first few times you see each other.  For most of us, those times don’t take place in front of drama-hungry photographers. However, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake aren’t “most of us.”

For the premiere of “Shrek The Third,” stars Cameron Diaz (Fiona) and Justin Timberlake (would-be King Arthur) were confronted with their first public appearance since their breakup.  The longtime pair split in late ’06.

Diaz arrived first, making her way down the green carpet in a bright-salmon Chanel dress, staying close to costar Mike Myers.  Timberlake walked the press gauntlet just steps behind Diaz, though the two didn’t appear to make eye contact during interviews.

At the cast photo, Diaz and JT greeted each other with big smiles and a hug and kiss. Although they were more than cordial, the moment appeared a bit uncomfortable.

As the world watches to see what happens next, Justin and Cameron have a few more awkward moments ahead of them as they continue to promote their new movie.

Is Jennie Garth Returning to 90210?

Is Jennie Garth Returning to 90210?

She may be best known as Kelly Taylor from “Beverly Hills 90210,” but Jennie Garth’s three daughters know her best as ‘mommy.’

And that’s the role Garth was spotted playing yesterday, along with hubby Peter Facinelli.  The happy couple, along with daughters Lola Ray and Fiona Eve, was seen dropping off their eldest daughter, Luca, at school.

And there are rumors swirling around the gossip mill that Jennie is making a sudden move out of a new CBS sitcom in favor of joining up with the CW’s new 90210 spinoff.

Garth was all set to play the role of the ex-wife on “My Best Friend’s Girl” when she abruptly left the project.  According to an insider, the role of Kelly Taylor could conceivably return to the show, possibly as a teacher of fashion design at West Beverly.
