James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff: Wanted in LA
While his costar Angelina Jolie is busy preparing to give birth to twins, James McAvoy found another beautiful gal to hang with at the Hollywood premiere of his new film Wanted: his wife, Anne-Marie Duff.
The Mann Village Theater in Los Angeles, California was the place to be last night to catch a first glimpse of the new suspense flick. And McAvoy looked dashing in a black leather jacket overtop a black v-neck with dark jeans and black shoes.
Duff, on the other hand, classed things up a bit in a low-cut grey and gold tank-style belted dress teamed with a pair of strappy grey heels.
James recently told press that he really enjoyed working with Jolie on the film. “The thing I most appreciated from Angelina was that she doesn’t take herself too seriously. And she kept reminding us that if you can’t have fun when you’re making an action movie, you shouldn’t be doing it.”
Photo: Iron Man Movie Armor Revealed
A couple weeks ago we got our first glimpse at the Mark 1 Iron Man armor. That wasn’t enough for most folks. Last week we got our first look at Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. That still wasn’t enough. Well now Entertainment Weekly has released the first photo of Iron Man in full red and gold armor. The suit was designed by Oscar-winning F/X master Stan Winston. I wonder why they didn’t hold out longer and hit us with a Mark II design. With Comic-Con around the corner, I was expecting to wait until at least then.
I got to admit, it looks like everything I thought it would be and possibly more. Now I’m excited to see this flick. Iron Man hits theaters on May 2nd 2008.

Yesterday we had a look at a scientific short film which may be used in the upcoming Invasion of the Body Snatchers remake. Today we bring you the first production still, direct from ShoWest.
The above photo shows Nicole Kidman as Carol, with two unidentified actors looking out the window at, one can only assume, some kind of alien invasion. We also get our first glimpse at the film’s logo, which looks exactly how we would expect it to look.
The official synopsis reads: A mysterious epidemic is sweeping the world, but it takes one Washington DC psychiatrist (Kidman) to discover that the disease is extraterrestrial in origin. When her son (Jackson Bond) becomes infected, she and a colleague (Daniel Craig) must work together to find a cure, before the entire world is lost
The Invasion will hit theaters on August 17th 2007.

Eva Longoria has just been named the new face for the fashion designer label BEBE. Fresh off the heels of her fairytale wedding to NBA superstar Tony Parker, it appears that the Desperate Housewives actress has taken the next step up the ladder on her rise to the top.
The first glimpse that Eva’s fans are getting of her as the new face of BEBE is for an upcoming ad campaign. The ad features Eva dressed in a black and white swimsuit and heels that definitely make her stand out.
As with almost every opportunity in the glamour world, one person’s success comes at the expense of another. And that is exactly what happened at BEBE. Mischa Barton was the previous face of the company, as she had been signed while skyrocketing to fame on the hit TV show The OC. However, Mischa’s career has recently had a few stumbles and it appears that BEBE has decided to trade up in the celebrity endorsement game.
As you look at the ad campaign pictures, it is readily apparent why BEBE chose Longoria as the celebrity to showcase their products to the public. With nothing but blue sky in front of her, it’ll be interesting to see what challenge Eva takes on next.
