New Indiana Jones Pics Including A First Look at Cate Blanchett!
Vanity Fair have a huge five page article about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The article includes a couple of interviews from Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, as well as some rather cool new images. One that stands out is our first glimpse of Cate Blanchett in costume. At first I thought it was Uma Thurman, as I have never seen Cate look quite so…evil. She is playing a villain in the movie, which is rare from Blanchett. Take a look.

Worthington Talks Avatar! (Briefly)
Sam Worthington was a virtual unknown until he landed the lead role in James Cameron’s Avatar. If I were in his shoes I would want to run around and tell everyone is in the world. Its not every day to get to work on a movie like Avatar. However, as with most big movies, contacts have to be signed so that the actors, camera crew, extras and even cleaners don’t reveal anything. I suppose this is good as it stops the movie being spoiled, however, for those wanting to see the movie NOW, it is a blatantly slap in the face for freedom of speech.
Anyway, before things get political, Worthington spoke to film writer Erin McWhirter about what filming Avatar was like, especially as he spends around 16 hours on set.
“It’s been endless, you never know when it’s going to end . . . it’s just big, I wasn’t expecting anything (upon accepting the role), I was just going in blind. It’s always overwhelming when you get any film because you never think you are going to work again.”
I can imagine working on such a film will be tough, especially as Cameron is known for his ’strict’ directing style. Avatar is currently in New Zealand, working with Peter Jackson’s WETA. Filming is expected to continue to until February, with a first glimpse of the film expect in March.

What is this world coming too? I guess when you’re famous, anything can happen. If you ask me blurry black & white ultrasound photos look like a big blob to me, I wouldn’t shell out big bucks for it.
For a brief time Tuesday, eBay bidders got a first glimpse at the progeny of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Or did they? A sonogram image purporting to be the fetus of the famous couple was up for auction on eBay before being yanked by the company.
“We have pulled it off the site,” spokesman Hani Durzy told Courttv.com. “This listing was being marketed as coming specifically from Angelina Jolie. There was no indication in the listing that she had given agreement to this.”
The now-defunct auction, listed as “Angelina Jolie’s 4-5 month fetus sonogram picture,” was reported in the British press Tuesday as generating more than 50 bids in two days.
The accompanying photo, a grainy black-and-white fetal scan, was dated Jan. 3 and showed Jolie’s partially blacked-out name in the upper left-hand corner. A physician’s name on the bottom of the photo had also been blacked out.
