Anne Hathaway and Friends “Get Smart” in Rome
Anne Hathaway and Friends “Get Smart” in Rome
Sure, it’s the home country of her incarcerated ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, but that’s not stopping Anne Hathaway from having a great time in Rome!
Hathaway was joined by co-star Steve Carell at an Italian photo call for their hit movie “Get Smart” earlier today at the Grand Hotel Hassler. And despite all the drama going on in her life these days, she was all smiles.
Sporting a sleeveless red dress with black peep-toe heels, the “Princess Diaries” actress hammed it up with Carell (in a beige jacket, white shirt and jeans) as well as hunky Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and director Peter Segal.
“Get Smart” is a remake of the 1960s storyline in which Steve Carell plays Agent Maxwell Smart and Anne Hathaway assumes the role of his sidekick Agent 99 in a plot to save the world.

Anne Hathaway and Eva Mendes: NYC Dining
Who knew a simple trip to the local watering hole would garner such amazing celebrity sightings?! Well, the Waverly isn’t exactly just another restaurant, and stars like Eva Mendes and Anne Hathaway were spotted on their way to dinner.
The New York City hot spot was the place to be last night for Eva Mendes fans. The “Hitch” actress has been spending her week in the Big Apple, and was spotted looking positively amazing last night.
She wore a strapless gold knee-length dress with matching peep-toe heels. And her huge smile revealed that she’s been having a ball in the City.
And Anne Hathaway was out on a date with her real estate developer boyfriend Raffaello Follieri when the paps caught up with her at the Waverly. The “Princess Diaries” actress even stopped to pet a dog before dinner. What a sweetie.
Anne Hathaway: Love Is In The Air
Anne Hathaway: Love Is In The Air
Anne Hathaway loves her men, no matter what sexual orientation they choose. The 24-year-old “Becoming Jane” actress, who’s currently vacationing with her boyfriend, took the time to talk to press about the guys in her life before basking it up in Italy.
Commenting on her man, real estate developer Raffaello Follieri, Anne told Newsweek, “(We) worship each other. We were desperately in love the first year, then we became each other’s best friends.”
Meanwhile, there is one sticky subject regarding Anne’s openness to sexual preference. Hathaway said, “About 95 percent of my friends are gay men,” as is her brother.
The complication arises because her current beau, Forelli, works with the Roman Catholic Church, which does not sanction gay sexual relationships.
When asked of her opinion of the church’s stance, the Princess Diaries actress quickly replied, “I’d rather not discuss criticism of the Catholic Church. They’ve done a lot of great work throughout the world.”
And it looks as if Ms Hathaway’s safe response has kept the love alive, as the couple just can’t seem to keep their hands off of one another. In the end, maybe someone needs to remind Mr. Forelli of the church’s stance on premarital sex.
Couples Watch: Anne & Raffaello, Ashton & Demi…
• Anne Hathaway, hitting up New York City hotspot the Waverly Inn along with her Italian beau Raffaello Follieri.
• Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore getting cozy – her head rested on his shoulder – while pal Penélope Cruz mingled during a bash at Hollywood’s Parc following John Mayer’s Los Angeles concert. Mayer, of course, was there – accompanied by girlfriend Minka Kelly. The pair headed to a large back booth and got settled (and got affectionate). Meanwhile, Kutcher, Moore and their friends sat at the neighboring booth.
• Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher, dining at the Tower Bar in West Hollywood along with Sweeney Todd costar Johnny Depp, when Bill Murray walked in for dinner. The maitre d’ introduced Murray and his party to Depp – then seated them on the opposite side of the room.
• Before departing Paris (where they enjoyed a five-day getaway), Beyoncé and Jay-Z took a farewell stroll along the Champs-Elysees, stopping into Louis Vuitton before heading under the Pont Alexandre III to Le Showcase, the city’s raging nightclub. According to a staffer, they were “very discreet” while drinking some red wine and dancing for about an hour.
• Angie Harmon, taking hubby Jason Sehorn to West Hollywood eatery Il Sole for a romantic dinner of spiny lobster. And the Women’s Murder Club star can’t get enough of the Italian restaurant: She stopped in two nights in a row, a source tells us.
• Tori Spelling, getting her hair done at the Byron Williams Hair Salon in Beverly Hills. While hubby Dean McDermott wasn’t getting a trim himself, he was more than happy to sit and wait patiently at the salon during his wife’s haircut.
