Mischa Barton Loves Keds!
Mischa Barton Loves Keds!
Looking as hot as ever, Mischa Barton was spotted at the Box restaurant in New York City yesterday showing off her uber-cool shoes.
The OC actress is on a worldwide tour for shoemaker Keds, and she’s peddling selections from the Spring 2008 line.
Barton wore a little black dress with white polka dots along with a matching pair of black platform-style, open-toed Keds. For a casual shoe company, they’re certainly moving forward in their fashion sense.
Mischa is on the “Top 20 Earning Young Superstars” list put out by Forbes magazine. Coming in at number 13 ($4.5 million this year), Barton beat out Mandy Moore, “Hannah Montana” actress Miley Cyrus, and even Lindsay Lohan.
Warren Buffett returning to All My Children
The richest man in the world has a secret. He likes to watch the goings on in Pine Valley. You know, the place Erica Kane — Susan Lucci, don’t you know — calls home. And now he’s going to be on his favorite ABC soap, too — for the second time! Billionaire Warren Buffett will play himself on All My Children during May sweeps.
Mr. Buffett is being written into Erica’s current storyline in which Ms. Kane has been imprisoned for insider trading (kind of like Martha Stewart). According to Michael Cohen, All My Children’s publicist, Buffett first appeared on the show in 1992: “He’s been waiting for an invitation to come back, and he was speaking to Agnes, and they made it happen.”
Agnes is Agnes Nixon, the creator of AMC. She and Warren are old friends and when they recently ran in to each other, the idea occurred to her to ask him back. According to the publicist, it will be Erica’s friend Opal (Jill Larson), the town beautician, who contacts Buffett to ask him to help get Ms. Kane out of trouble. The man that Forbes magazine says is worth $62 billion, drops everything and head to PV.
Cindy Crawford Biography

Considered one of the world’s most beautiful women, supermodel Cindy Crawford has appeared just about everywhere that advertisements are allowed. Over her unprecedentedly long career, she has hawked everything from haute couture and perfume to soda pop and dairy products, and has made a fortune with her beauty and fitness videos and swimsuit calendars. Crawford also owns a piece of the Planet Hollywood restaurant chain. In 1995, Forbes magazine ranked her as the most highly paid model in the world. Crawford is the first supermodel to pose for Playboy and later risked her career by posing suggestively on the cover of Vanity Fair beside lesbian singer k.d. Lang.
In addition to appearing in television commercials, Crawford spent six years hosting the MTV cable network’s House of Style. She is an intelligent, witty woman and a popular talk show guest. As an actress, Crawford occasionally guest stars on television series, as she did in a special 1998 episode of the NBC sitcom Third Rock From the Sun. In 1995, Crawford made a rather inauspicious film debut in the action thriller Fair Game. Despite the film’s lack of box-office success, Crawford is still interested in pursuing an acting career.
Crawford is a native of De Kalb, IL, and was discovered as a teenager when a local news photographer took a picture of her while she was detasselling corn. Already an impressive beauty, she left her country job to become a model for the summer. She continued modelling for the next two summers, through the Chicago division of the Elite modelling agency and then decided to go to college. Helped by an academic scholarship (she’d been a straight-A student in high school), Crawford studied chemical engineering at Northwestern University, but shrewdly decided that she’d make more money as a model. For a while, Crawford worked in Chicago, but didn’t hit the big time until she moved to New York City in 1986.

Miley Cyrus Brings In the Bucks
Miley Cyrus Brings In the Bucks
Even though she’s not yet old enough to drive, it’s quite apparent that Miley Cyrus will have her options open when she does come of age to pick out her own ride.
Earlier this week, the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star made her debut on Forbes magazine’s 20 Top-Earning Young Superstars Under 25 - banking an annual income of $3.5 million, which puts her 17th on the list.
And with such tremendous concert ticket sales, along with the fanfare that she’s currently receiving, it appears safe to say that the daughter of country star Billy Ray Cyrus will be moving up the same list next year.
The top earners on Forbes’ list tended to be professional athletes, with basketball star LeBron James pulling in an impressive $27 million dollars last year to capture the top spot.
