Miley Wants Her Ex "to Be Upset"
While Miley Cyrus has remained mum on the specifics of her love life, she does admit that her new song, “7 Things,” is indeed about an ex of hers.
And while she hopes the former b-f is affected by the tune”I want them to be upset [when they hear the song]. That was my point,” she tells Ryan Seacrestshe leaves the identity of the culprit to our imagination.
Of course, that doesn’t stop Ryan from trying to pry the answer from her…
“Have you heard from anybody that might have been the impetus to writing these lyrics, maybe a Nick Jonas?” asks the KIIS-FM morning man.
“Stop!” giggles Miley, before adding that her mystery man might come forward after the video is released, “because it’s pretty honest. The video’s even more honest than my song.”
There is at least one person we can count off the list. Multitalented Miley finally states on the record that, despite rumors, she is not dating her 22-year-old backup dancer. “He’s one of my really, really good friends.”
Well, whoever her secret former lover is, maybe he’ll be stoked to know he influenced the song lyrics written by one of the most famous people in America!

The Ex gets a New Date AGAIN
We just got word that the release date for Zach Braff’s new film The EX has been moved to May 11th 2007.
The movie was originally titled Fast Track (hence the poster pictured right), and was scheduled for a December 29th 2006 bow. The name changed, the release date moved to March 9th, and then June 2007 TBA, and we’re being told that the May date is now final. We know an early cut was shown in limited release and at the European Film Market last month. So far the movie has gotten extremely positive reviews from noncritical audiences, which is very odd for a film plagued with release date changes (a date move is usually a very bad sign). The Ex is currently getting a 9.2 on IMDb with over 100 votes. LA Weekly compared it to David O. Russell’s Flirting with Disaster.
The movie follows Tom Reilly (Zach Braff), a guy who is forced to work with his pregnant wife’s (Amanda Peet) high school friend and former lover (Jason Bateman), who is in a wheelchair.
Paris Hilton Settles Zeta Graff Lawsuit
Paris Hilton Settles Zeta Graff Lawsuit
When you’re uber-rich and famous, you have to be careful about what you say. Paris Hilton learned that one the hard way, after a woman she defamed came back at her with a $10 million lawsuit. But all is well now, as they have settled out of court.
Actress Zeta Graff, a former lover of Paris’ ex-fiancee Paris Latsis, was suing the heiress. Apparently the Simple Life star said some unsavory things about her in the press.
The New York Post reported that Graff attacked Paris in a London nightclub back in 2005. After further embellishments that ended up being untrue, Graff took legal action.
Paris’ former publicist released a statement that said he was asked by the former inmate to help plant the fictitious story for her. And that didn’t help Paris’ case one bit.
The details and conditions of the settlement are confidential, but it’s safe to say that Miss Graff just added a few zeros to the end of her net worth value.
