Tony Parker a Global Baller in ’09
Here’s something else for the couple to hang in their den next to Eva Longoria Parker’s In Style, Glamour and Self covers.
After five stints as the face of pixilated basketball in France, the actress’ two-time NBA All-Star hubby Tony Parker has been chosen to grace the cover of the global edition of Electronic Arts’ NBA Live 09.
Meaning, Parker’s 26-year-old mug and San Antonio Spurs uniform will be frontin’ in North America for the first time, starting Oct. 7, and then everywhere else where video games are sold Oct. 14.
“I have a long history with EA Sports,” the Belgian-born, French-bred Parker said. “I’ve been on the cover in France for five years straight, and I’ve been playing NBA Live for as long as I’ve played basketball. It’s a real honor for me as a European player to now be represented on the worldwide cover.”

Most of the year, he calls France home, but Johnny Depp was spotted in Los Angeles, California yesterday, returning to his family for a Father’s Day celebration.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” stud took a private plane to LA, where he was seen shortly after landing as he made his way to a chauffeured SUV, en route to see his kids.
Depp has been spending the lion’s share of his time lately in Chicago where he’s been filming “Public Enemies,” a film set during the Great Depression involving an organized crime ring.
Johnny plays ganster John Dillinger, who, together with Pretty Boy Floyd (Channing Tatum), is trying to outrun the FBI. “Public Enemies” is slated for a July 1, 2009 release.

As a follow-up to a article earlier this morning, it appears that Britney Spears’ night didn’t end with checking into the L’Ermitage Hotel - as another late night/early morning outing was in store.
The Gimme More singer decided to head out solo, driving around for awhile before stopping at a newsstand where she “almost got groped by a drunk guy, got scared and went home just after 12:30 am.”
While at the newsstand, Miss Spears shed her coat to reveal a little nightie top busting out of the red plunge - bringing us back to the good ol’ days of summer in which she’d strip to her undies at the drop of a hat for a dip in the ocean.
Nonetheless, in brighter Britney news, it was just announced that she won the a NRJ Music Award in France for International Album of the Year for Blackout.
Outlander Poster
I don’t think I have ever used the words ‘Vikings’ and ‘aliens’ in the same sentence before in my life.That is until today. Shock Till You Drop got an international poster for Outlander, a movie that has yet to get a release date in most places across the globe, with the exceptions of Russia and France.
In Outlander, two aliens crash land on Earth - one good (Caveziel), one bad (created by Patrick Tatopoulos). Subsequently, their intergalactic battle disrupts the lives of a band of Vikings (played by John Hurt, Ron Perlman and Moonlight’s Sophia Myles.
