Accompanied by co-star Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, Audrina Patridge was out filming and shopping at Fred Segal on Wednesday afternoon (June 25) for the hit MTV show “The Hills”.
During the outing, Audrina was all smiles in a green summer dress - finishing the day by collecting some dry-cleaning on Melrose Ave before returning home.
Meanwhile, it seems that local residents who live near Audrina, Lo and Lauren Conrad’s new house are “upset by the ensuing cacophonous parade of paparazzi and onlookers resulting from the production’s presence.”
Sources have told Access Hollywood that “MTV has turned the residence into a commercial sound stage for the purpose of filming the show. The house is located in a single-family residential zone.”
In response, an MTV spokesperson told press: “MTV is in accordance with all required production permits, and is working with the city of Los Angeles to assist it with neighborhood concerns that have been raised.”

Fresh off of a courtroom victory, Britney Spears was spotted out on a trip to West Hollywood’s Fred Segal for a little afternoon shopping on Tuesday (June 24).
Earlier in the day, the “Gimme More” singer attended a hearing with ex-husband Kevin Federline - during which Britney was reportedly granted overnight visitation with her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston.
“There was a change in visitation status that was ordered by Commissioner Gordon this morning,” Los Angeles Superior Court spokesperson Alan Parachini told press.
And though Parachini wasn’t at liberty to offer details, a source has since confirmed to press that Ms Spears indeed will be getting sleepovers with the kiddies.
Asked by Us magazine if she was happy with the court outcome, Britney smiled and said, “Yes.” Meanwhile, the next status hearing is set for July 15th.
Audrina and Lo Take Time to Bond, Shop
The Hills rolled through trendy Fred Segal today, proving retail therapy can make gal-pals out of anyone. Even Audrina Patridge and Lo Bosworth, whom we last saw at odds for Lauren Conrad’s good favor on the show.
After arriving around 11a.m. at the trendy Melrose boutique, the pair seemed to make a genuine effort at bondingor at least the producers did anyway. As the girls perused Fred Segal Beauty (where Audrina picked up Lorac lip gloss and Lo some Bumble & Bumble hair spray), staffers were instructed to keep to themselves and assistance to a minimum.
“They told us not to talk to them. It was more about the conversation they were having,” one product pusher told News.
After that, the ladies headed to the roof deck for some sun and more shopping. They cruised womenswear but made no purchases. Some MTV staffers munched on salads from Segal’s Mauro’s Cafe while the two gabbed.
Finally, Audrina and Lo headed out around 1:15 p.m., to the firestorm of paparazzi seen on the video above.
Nearby, and nowhere near as noticed, Rebecca Demornay slipped out from lunch with a brunette pal.

She just can’t leave the house without attracting all kinds of attention, and yesterday Salma Hayek created quite a commotion during a simple shopping spree.
The “Fools Rush In” actress headed over to one of her favorite spending spots, the Fred Segal boutique, to grab some new duds. And she looked summertime sexy in a sleeveless red shirt and a pair of flair-legged jeans.
During her time at the Crystal Lucy Awards earlier this week, Hayek confessed that despite all of the hoopla, her mind was never far from her little almost-one-year-old daughter Valentina.
She told press, “I was with her right before we came. I was in the car telling my partner, I know it’s been ten minutes, but I miss her already.”
And it sounds like Salma is truly enjoying motherhood. “She sticks her tongue out, she claps at everything. From day one, she’s been smiling and laughing. She’s a very happy baby. Everything she does melts my heart.”
