Jessica Biel: Dog Days of Summer

Jessica Biel: Dog Days of Summer

With her man Justin Timberlake hard at work overseas, Jessica Biel seems to have found a suitable companion to keep her company - her dog.

The “Powder Blue” hottie was spotted out and about in Brentwood, California yesterday enjoying some exercise and camaraderie with her pet pooch as she sipped an iced coffee.

Along with her ‘anti-paparazzi’ attitude, Biel wore a mauve Henley-style top underneath a grey duster sweater with a pair of jeans, sunglasses, and sneakers.

As previously reported by the , it seems Jess’ new living arrangement with her “SexyBack” sweetie has caused some waves for them both, although they’re learning how to deal.

An insider told press, “Justin’s been a bachelor for a long time. They’re both used to doing things their way and having specific things in the fridge.  They’ve had to readjust where the beer, water and peanut butter go to make room for each other’s favorite foods.”

She’s been super busy filming her current gig “Nailed,” but earlier today Jessica Biel was spotted arriving back home in southern California via LAX International Airport.

The “Summer Catch” babe looked like she meant business as she made her way through the terminal sporting a grey v-neck sweater and a pair of vintage-looking jeans.

And it seems that her new living situation with boyfriend Justin Timberlake is taking some getting used to.  Reportedly the “Cry Me a River” singer isn’t quite ready to give up his bachelorhood.

24 Movie Prequel is Beginning to Sound Lame

A few years ago when Fox announced that they would be making a feature film out of it’s hit real time television serial 24, I was excited. But that was before this past season, where the show not only jumped the shark, but nuked the fridge. We had Jack Bauer running around with the fictional equivalent of Osama Bin Laden, numerous unexplainable twists, turns and deaths, and a storyline that involved Bauer teaming up with a mentally disabled man. And the upcoming season doesn’t look much better - we have a man coming back from the dead, and the early advertisements show a torture-obsessed Bauer who has been reduced to a parody of the multi-layered character from the first few seasons. Remember when Bauer kicked his heroin habit over the course of one day? I’m beginning to miss those times.

For some reason, I just assumed that the 24 movie would never actually happen. And now I actually doubt it ever will. A two hour prequel for this upcoming season is currently in production. Robert Carlyle has confirmed to Premiere that the two hour prequel takes place in real time and the the end of the prequel will connect directly into the first episode of the series

“This two hours is two hours in real time and there’ll then be 22 episodes. I don’t know how they connect it to the first of those 22 episodes but it’s literally the third hour…”

So wait a second. Not only is this not the big screen movie that Fox has been promising for years, but its looking less and less like a supplemental television movie. 24 has always had a 24 episode season. If this prequel accounts for the first two episodes, and leads directly into the third hour, than how is this even a prequel?

Still interested? Carlyle revealed a little more about his role in the prequel:

“My character’s called Carl Benton who is Jack Bauer’s best buddy and he hasn’t seen him for 10 years or something. Jack’s on his travels and he comes to see Carl and hang out with him and potentially change his life. Maybe…” “We were in the Stellenbosch region, the wine country. It was doubling for jungle in the fictional country of Sangala.”

Woo-woo-woo: Arsenio Hall to host new MyNetworkTV show

Arsenio HallFormer talk show host Arsenio Hall hasn’t been around much the past few years. He was a regular the last couple of seasons on CBS’ Martial Law and has made guest appearances here and there, but for the most part he has stayed out of the limelight. Now Hall is coming back to television to host a new weekly reality show.

The show is called Funniest Moments and I’m sure you can guess what the show is without me even explaining it to you. Think about it for a moment while I go grab a cold drink out of the fridge.

I’m back. Did you guess what it is? That’s right, it’s a funny “clips” show like America’s Funniest Home Videos or Most Outrageous Moments. The show will be an hour long and air on Wednesdays at 9pm starting this fall on MyNetworkTV, the network no one is sure they’ve even seen before but they probably have and just don’t know it.
