Lauren Conrad Drops By Four Seasons
Lauren Conrad Drops By Four Seasons
Enjoying what was a beautiful June day, Lauren Conrad was spotted out and about the Los Angeles area on Tuesday (June 11).
Wearing a sophisticated red dress with a white buttondown sweater overtop, the Hills starlet headed over to the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills to kick-start her morning.
After spending about half an hour inside the luxury hotel, LC returned to her Hollywood home, where movers were busily hauling in a whole new set of furniture for her and pal Lauren Bosworth’s pad.
Meanwhile, all of the talk surrounding Lauren and The Hills as of late focuses on the strained relationship between Conrad and her reality co-star Audrina Patridge.
As previously reported by , LC allegedly threw a fit when she found her Audrina in the midst of a photoshoot with OK! magazine in their backyard - as Conrad had already promised exclusive photos of their spot to a rival magazine.
Explaining the situation to OK!, Audrina tells: “She was very, very, very mad. She said it’s her house. But this is my room. I said, ‘We’re not taking pictures of your house - don’t be rude.’ It just adds to the tension. Now she thinks I’m sneaky and shady for doing this photo shoot, yet she and her team knew about it. She won’t let it go.”
Kanye West: Grammy-Tastic
Kanye West: Grammy-Tastic
He’s just been nominated for a total of eight Grammy Awards, and Kanye West seems pretty darn pleased with the news. The “Jesus Walks” rapper shopped for furniture in West Hollywood yesterday, sporting a positive vibe.
As for his professional life, it sounds like he’s still taking some time to deal with the recent death of his mother.
With only a few days notice, West cancelled his appearance at the KDWB Jingle Ball last night, citing an unspecified “family matter.”
The KDWB program director explained, “We tried to get [West] on the air to explain all this to fans, but he refused. We did everything we could to save this thing.”
Somehow we doubt his no-show last night will do much to dampen his popularity with his fans.
Behind Papa Lo’s Blog: "I Don’t Approve"
Michael Lohan won’t be making a cameo on Living Lohan any time soonso what’s the low-down on the OK! blog he’s penning about his ex-wife’s reality series?
“I’m not doing it to slam or hurt anyone,” says Michael, who managed to get several advance copies of the show before it aired. “I just want to be honest. I’m going to call it like I see it. If Dina does the right thing on the show, then we won’t have any problems. But if she wants to play games, then I’ll call it like I see it.”
So is it safe to say the estranged family patriarch isn’t exactly a fan of the show that also features daughter Ali and son Cody?
“I’ve already seen, on the first episode, people around my kids that shouldn’t be and elements I don’t approve of,” Michael tells News. “Let’s just say it’s hard to see a reality show in a house I built, filled with furniture I bought, surrounded by people I don’t approve of.”
Desperate Housewives: Sunday
(S04E11) “A church isn’t a place for questions. It’s a place for answers.” - Bree to Lynette
After months without new episodes of Desperate Housewives, I was like Lynette this week: I had questions and wanted answers. Sadly for me, Lynette’s quest for answers and faith took precedent over my own curiosity and hopes.
As you know, I’m a spoilers addict, so my expectations for the remaining season 4 episodes of the series were pretty high since I was promised loads of answers about the mysteries surrounding Katherine and Dylan. Because of my wanting of answers, Lynette’s storyline, which took most of the air time this week, felt flat.
Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy Lynette’s quest for answers and trying to find which religion was best for her, but it got in the way of me getting my own answers. I didn’t expect to learn everything about Katherine this week but still expected more than I was offered. In retrospect, Lynette’s storyline looked liked a secondary storyline that was given way too much attention because, at the last minute, writers decided to spread out the juicy stuff over more episodes. Even if I didn’t care much for Lynette’s scenes, I liked her interactions with Bree. The latter is my favorite character and seeing her be uncomfortable and lose control of her world is entertaining.
Every now and then, a rumor about one of the main housewives leaving the show resurfaces. I haven’t read about it in weeks but, while watching Gaby and Carlos together this week, I wouldn’t mind seeing Gabrielle relocate. Their love/hate relationship is getting boring, and Gaby putting objects/furniture on Carlos’ path so he trips is already getting old. I personally think that both characters have offered all they could to the series and that it’s time for them to leave town and have another family buy their Wisteria Lane house.
We got good tidbits about Katherine and Dylan in “Sunday” even if not any for my taste. Not only did we finally see a glimpse of the note (”Your father was murdered.”) but we also were treated with some back story for Katherine. Her ex, Wayne, used to slap her and she eventually slapped back… with the candlestick in the living room. We don’t know for sure that Wayne is the one buried in the woods but it’s a safe bet that he is. We also know that Katherine took Tim’s virginity 12 years ago and that he saw Katherine hit her ex. Why did she sleep with him? Was it a way to get back at her husband? Is she into younger men? Was she desperate and miserable and saw this as escape? Did she really kill Wayne with the chandelier? If so, is he the one buried in the woods? Did she get help to bury him? How did the aunt learn the truth? Why is Adam so willing to give Katherine “one last alibi”? Will Dylan ever find the truth? Will Susan put herself once again in danger by trying to find the truth?
One of the main questions about this mystery though is “why can’t Dylan remember?” Some fans came up with a theory: Dylan is not Dylan. They believe that Katherine left Wisteria Lane because the real Dylan died. She covered it up and skipped town. She then kidnapped a child that looked a lot like Dylan and raised her as her own. Due to the resemblance between real Dylan and fake Dylan, and because children change a lot in their teen years, Susan, Julie, and Dylan herself, aren’t suspicious. Now, I don’t agree with this theory, but I thought I would post it here to see what you guys thought of it. I believe that Dylan doesn’t remember because some traumatic incident messed her up a lot and/or her father hit her and caused some sort of head trauma.
I can’t wait for more answers in the coming weeks, especially the two-hour finale that is said to “include the unveiling of Katherine’s secrets and a huge twist ending” according to Entertainment Weekly.
