The Cheetah Girls Release First Studio Album
Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan and Kiely Williams, better known as The Cheetah Girls, may have been some of the reason for the success of High School Musical.
The Disney Channel darlings were birthed in 2003, along with “That’s So Raven” star Raven Symone. They starred in a made-for-TV movie based on Deborah Gregory’s books. And then insanity ensued.
After they saw how successful a made-for-TV-movie could be, Disney decided to take a chance on High School Musical, and struck gold twice. HSM broke all the records on it’s opening night.
The gauntlet had been thrown down, and the Cheetahs weren’t looking to play second fiddle to the HSM gang. So when the second Cheetah Girls movie garnered even higher ratings than their Disney peers, they were thrilled. The soundtrack even hit #5 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Now The Cheetah Girls have released “TCG” a full-length album of songs that are sure to tickle the ears of their pre and post-pubescent fans.

With a cute scarf around her neck and a smile on her face, Rachel Bilson toted her luggage through LAX Airport on Saturday as she readied to board a departing flight.
The former OC actress has been home during the past week on a much needed break from the non-stop traveling and promoting associated with her hit movie Jumper.
Meanwhile, the 26-year old recently took the time to talk to press about the “necessary precautions when out and about - as the paparazzi have their ways and are always looking for a down and dirty ambush.”
“I’ve had these guys trying to get these shots, crotch shots, I guess, and you think, ‘You’ve got to be kidding. This is the ultimate down and dirty ambush.” Bilson tells.
“But it’s something you can pretty easily protect yourself from. I’ve seen what the paparazzi can do to someone if she’s careless about how she gets out of a car and if she forgot her underwear. Fortunately, I’m not one to forget about underwear. Ever.”
The brunette beauty adds: “I like my privacy, I like having quality time with my dog. I grew up in Los Angeles, my family is in the business, and it’s easy enough to avoid the obvious places where you’ll run the gauntlet.”
Witchblade Teaser Poster
A sexual new teaser poster for Witchblade has been released, along with a teaser website, despite no filming taking place and no actress currently signed to play the lead role. I had no idea what Witchblade was until two minutes ago, but apparently the original Top Cow comic book series has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide since it was created in 1995. It also spawned a TNT television series which ran for two seasons beginning in 2000, and a Japanese Anime television show in Japan in 2006.
The story follows a specially chosen female who comes into possession of “a supernatural, sentient artifact with immense destructive and protective powers” called the Witchblade. The jewel-encrusted gauntlet gives the wearer extraordinary powers. The feature length theatrical live-action film will take a “more horror-based approach.”

Timberlake and Diaz Make Nice For Shrek 3 Premiere
Whenever you break up with someone you’ve been with for a substantial length of time there’s always those awkward first few times you see each other. For most of us, those times don’t take place in front of drama-hungry photographers. However, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake aren’t “most of us.”
For the premiere of “Shrek The Third,” stars Cameron Diaz (Fiona) and Justin Timberlake (would-be King Arthur) were confronted with their first public appearance since their breakup. The longtime pair split in late ’06.
Diaz arrived first, making her way down the green carpet in a bright-salmon Chanel dress, staying close to costar Mike Myers. Timberlake walked the press gauntlet just steps behind Diaz, though the two didn’t appear to make eye contact during interviews.
At the cast photo, Diaz and JT greeted each other with big smiles and a hug and kiss. Although they were more than cordial, the moment appeared a bit uncomfortable.
As the world watches to see what happens next, Justin and Cameron have a few more awkward moments ahead of them as they continue to promote their new movie.
