She’s been working overtime on getting in shape and reclaiming her public sanity, so it only makes sense that Britney Spears would treat herself to a relaxing weekend in Las Vegas.
The “Piece of Me” songstress was spotted cooling off at the pool outside of her hotel, looking playful in a pink and orange psychedelic-patterned bikini.
According to sources, Brit is in Sin City to treat her father Jamie Spears to an extended Fathers’ Day weekend, having flown into town yesterday after visiting with her kids at her home in Studio City, California.
After all, Jamie has been the solid rock foundation that the “Gimme More” singer has been relying on as of late. He’s taken over her financial and personal affairs, giving Britney the ability to focus on getting herself healthy again. If not for Jamie, we may still be seeing the likes of Adnan Ghalib… or worse- Sam Lutfi!

Following a horrific weekend that involved her getting strapped to a gurney and hauled off to the mental ward at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, the “Gimme More” singer is trying her hand at romance again.
She was spotted at the Daily Grill in Palm Desert, California yesterday grabbing a bite to eat with Adnan Ghalib, the paparazzo she’s been spotted with in the past. And it seems that the two of them were enjoying each other immensely.
A Daily Grill employee told press, “She seemed in a really good mood, laughing with the guy she was with,” adding that she was wearing large sunglasses and drinking champagne. It seems like odd behavior for someone who just had her child visitation rights stripped away.

The old adage “Truth is stranger than fiction” definitely applies in the life of Britney Spears. You couldn’t make this stuff up! The latest on our favorite Pop Tart is that she skipped town last night with her paparazzi boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.
The “Piece of Me” singer hopped on a private jet in Van Nuys, California, headed for Teterboro Airport in the Garden State (New Jersey). As far as their whereabouts after hitting the runway, no one knows.
There are reports that Brit skipped town in order to avoid a planned intervention by members of her family that was to take place later this week. Apparently, the “Gimme More” singer isn’t interested in getting help for her mental/emotional dysfunction.
Speculation is rampant that Dr. Phil’s statement to Entertainment Tonight regarding Britney’s state of mind (he said she, “is in dire need of medical and psychological intervention”) may have caused the rift between herself and her family.
A Spears family spokesperson told press, “What’s wrong with Dr. Phil’s statement is that he made a statement. The family, basically, extended an invitation of trust for him to come in as a resource to support them, not to go out and make public statements. He was not invited to make this part of a public display.”

Contrary to earlier reports stating that Britney Spears was headed to New York City for a break from all of the media attention, the troubled pop tart actually made a break for the border - heading to Mexico.
The “Piece Of Me” singer and her paparazzo boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, were spotted driving around down south late last night.
This comes after Miss Spears tricked press into thinking she was headed for the Big Apple, when really she had the sandy beaches of Mexico in store.
And on top of that, just yesterday, Finalpixx photo agency confirmed that Britney’s got a relationship going with their man.
