Leonardo DiCaprio: Hard At Work

Leonardo DiCaprio: Hard At Work

At this stage in his career, Leonardo DiCaprio can pretty much pick and choose which projects he wants to work on.  And his latest gig is a movie called “Shutter Island.”

Shooting in Boston, Massachusetts, “Shutter Island” is about US Marshal Teddy Daniels (played by DiCaprio) who is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a mental hospital.

And not only is the cast killer- Leo stars alongside Sir Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, and Mark Ruffalo - at the helm of it all is legendary writer/director Martin Scorsese, with whom DiCaprio worked on “The Departed.”

Sunday morning, the “Titanic” star was spotted hard at work filming scenes for the new flick in a white shirt with his sleeves rolled up and matching white trousers.

Jennifer Aniston: Back in the States

Jennifer Aniston: Back in the States

She’s been tooling around the UK with her musician lover John Mayer.  And last night, Jennifer Aniston returned home to southern California.

The “He’s Just Not That Into You” babe arrived at LAX International Airport last evening looking a bit worn out from her painfully long transatlantic flight.

But she wore the jet-lag well, sporting a grey top underneath a khaki jacket teamed with a pair of jeans and some comfy-looking flip flops as she made her way through the terminal.

As previously reported by the , Jen was busy over the weekend in Europe, most recently checking out Mayer’s gig in the Hyde Park area of London.  And as she departed, John was on his way to his gig at the Glastonbury Festival.

No Charges Against Amy Winehouse

No Charges Against Amy Winehouse

Though doctors have warned her that smoking is the last thing she should be doing, Amy Winehouse seemed happy to ignore the advice earlier today (June 30).

The troubled “Rehab” singer paid a visit to the GP and attempted to open the upstairs window to have a smoke.  When she was unsuccessful, she headed outside to light up, and was promptly greeted by fans seeking photos and autographs.

As previously reported by the , Winehouse continued her chain of controversy over the weekend when she punched an audience member during her set at the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England.

Lucky for her, the injured concertgoer isn’t going to press charges, and therefore authorities have no cause to investigate.  Following her gig, Amy returned to the clinic for further treatment.

Bon Jovi Play Ball (and Music)

Jon Bon Jovi, Michael Bloomberg

For those who want Bon Jovi dead or alive, a third option has suddenly come into play: free.

Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and those other three guys that make up the wallpaper band are following in the footsteps of Chris Martin’s crew, announcing plans to treat fans to a free concert in New York’s Central Park on July 12.

The gig, held in conjunction with Major League Baseball, will be part of the pomp and circumstance surrounding the July 15 All-Star game at Yankee Stadium.

As it is, the Jersey boys are narrowly missing out on a double-header of their own, as they wrap up their current 10-date U.S. tour at Madison Square Garden, with their final two shows set for July 14 and 15.
