They’re both world famous rock stars in their own right, and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are about to become parents to a second baby (due this summer). How domestic!
The happily married couple was spotted having a romantic day on the pier in Santa Barbara, California yesterday, looking uncharacteristically colorful.
The “Hollaback Girl” singer looked preggers-chic in a bright blue summer maternity dress, while her “Little Things” rocker hubby donned a white button-up shirt and a pair of dark jeans.
And according to an inside source, Gwen is relieved to be near the end of her pregnancy term. Reportedly she had a rough first few months.
“Gwen was very ill in the first part of her pregnancy and really suffering. [But] happily, she’s really blossoming now and is in a great space. [Husband Gavin Rossdale] is just trying to be right there for her and help her through it.”

Nearing her summer due date, Gwen Stefani walked arm-in-arm with her rocker hubby Gavin Rossdale as they made their way into a doctor’s appointment at Cedars Sinai on Thursday (March 27).
The Hollaback Girl singer was reportedly dropping by the doctor’s office for a routine check-up - as she and Gavin are expecting their second child this summer.
And Stefani, who’s already a mother to a nearly 2-year-old son named Kingston, doesn’t plan on stopping with her baby-on-the-way.
The 38-year-old recently told in an interview that she “definitely” wants to have more than two kids, quipping: “It’s fun trying to get pregnant.”

Showing off her blossoming baby bump, Gwen Stefani spent the afternoon out shopping at Miu Miu in Beverly Hills on Wednesday (May 14).
The “Hollaback Girl” singer’s been busy readying for the summertime arrival of her and rocker husband Gavin Rossdale’s second child together.
And while Gwen’s taking care of the shopping needs, her hubby’s concentration seems to be focused on a name for his yet-to-be-born child.
On this matter, Rossdale recently told press, “There are some names floating around the house. We don’t want anything too crazy, but compared to a name like Kingston, there’s so much pressure on the poor guy or poor girl. Kingston set a pretty intense standard.”

A growingly pregnant Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale took their son, Kingston, for a day of fun at the beach in Santa Monica on Saturday (April 12).
During the course of the shoreside outing, Gavin and Kingston played in the water while Gwen watched. The happy family then took a long stroll down the boardwalk, posing for pictures along the way.
In related news, the Hollaback Girl singer and her rocker husband have decided to wait until birth to find out the sex of their unborn child, just as they did when Gwen welcomed their two-year-old son Kingston into the world in 2006.
“We don’t know (the baby’s sex). It was a surprise last time so we’re kind of working on that this time,” Rossdale told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show.
