Kristin Cavallari’s Irie Weekend Golfing

Kristin Cavallari’s Irie Weekend Golfing

She’s known for many things, but golfing certainly isn’t one of them.  Nonetheless, Kristin Cavallari was doing her thing at the Miami Beach Golf Course over the weekend.

The Laguna Beach babe was in town for the Irie Weekend 2008 Celebrity Golf Tournament, an event hosted by DJ Irie to benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Miami.

And while Kristin may not have had the best golfing skills out there, she sure looked good trying, sporting a sleeveless cream-colored minidress complete with massive platform heels.

Also hitting the links for the kids were Timbaland, Kevin Federline, Brody Jenner, Danny Masterson, and Nick Cannon.

Justin Timberlake’s Golf Course Blues

Justin Timberlake’s Golf Course Blues

With all of the beautiful weather as of late, it’s no wonder that Justin Timberlake was in the mood for a round of golf yesterday (June 17).

The “SexyBack” crooner was spotted out with a few friends at a local course, sporting a black screenprinted t-shirt with a pair of dark below-the-knee shorts and white golf shoes.

Not long into his round, Justin started to get fed up by the paparazzi presence, shortly thereafter blaming them for ruining his concentration before leaving the course after just two holes.

In related news, Timberlake, who has won 21 surfboards at the Teen Choice Awards, could be adding three more this year.  The nominations for the 2008 TCAs were recently announced, and JT is up for three categories: Choice Music, Choice Hookup and Choice Male Artist.

NBC announces webisodes of Office and Heroes

Kevin Malone and SylarNBC announced today that webisodes for The Office and Heroes would officially premiere on NBC.com starting in July. Seems like all that chit-chat that led to the WGA Strike cease-fire is finally showing some results.

The Office webisodes will premiere first in early July and will focus on Kevin’s gambling issues and how he plans to pay for his debts. We got a taste of his competitive side in this past week’s episode when he started betting on holes at the golf course. The summer series will also feature Stanley, Oscar, and Darryl. This is the second series of webisodes for The Office, which premiered The Accountants back in the summer of 2006.

The Heroes webisodes will air in mid-July with the premiere “Manhunt.” NBC was scant on details for this, except to say that a new villain will be introduced and that the web series will lead right up to the third season premiere. No word on whether or not any stars from the TV show will make guest appearances.

So what does everyone think of this? Honestly, I’m not too psyched. While I love both of these shows, webisodes tend to be of much lesser quality than the series themselves. Plus, they never tie directly into a show or have serious implications because, believe it or not, some folks still don’t have Internet access. To chastise those fans is something that networks don’t seem ready to do… yet. I’m sure these can be skipped over without having to play much (if any) catch-up when the new seasons premiere in the fall.

Halle Berry Links Up with Beau on Golf Course

Halle Berry Links Up with Beau on Golf Course | Gabriel Aubry, Halle Berry Halle Berry can get into the swing of things after her baby arrives.

Admitting to Friends that her golf game “pretty much sucks,” the Oscar winner, 41, could still be found on the links Monday, as she cheered on model-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

The two were part of the Callaway Golf Foundation Challenge at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., benefiting the Entertainment Industry Foundation.

“He played in the ’80s, so that was good,” Berry proudly noted. “I would have been 120, if I played. … But you know, that’s really not the point. I love trying, and I love being with him.”

So what’s next for the couple?

“Nothing,” insists Berry with a laugh – before she realized, “Having a baby!”
