She’s sold millions of records, has her own collection of Grammy Awards, and just released her new perfume “M.” But Mariah Carey isn’t nearly finished with her list of accomplishments.
In a recent interview, the “Always Be My Baby” singer detailed the criteria she has for her life prior to having a child. She said, “If I were to have a child, I would want to be married with a stable family environment. Not to say that that’s how everybody has to do it.”
The 37-year-old songstress talked about how her parents divorced when she was three years old, and that she’s in no rush to have kids, although she wants to someday.
But first, she needs a man! When asked if she was dating anyone, she said, “I don’t know how to answer that today.”

It looks like Taylor Swift made a new friend yesterday at the Grammy Awards Nomination Ceremony. She and Black Eyed Pea Fergie seemed pretty up close and personal.
And they both looked fabulous. The “My Humps” singer showed up in a black dress with a black leather coat and some crazy knee-high boots. She’s hoping to add to her Grammy collection (she already has three!).
Meanwhile, Taylor was packing her fashion A-game with a black dress and a curled blonde coif. Sometimes keeping it simple is the best policy.
Brittany Snow sported a silver, shimmery halter dress, with a side-parted hairstyle and a glow that only a tanning bed can provide.
After the ceremony, People magazine hosted their Grammy Kick-Off Party at LA hotspot Avalon, and stars like Lauren Conrad and Emmy Rossum got to join in the fun.

He’s just been nominated for a total of eight Grammy Awards, and Kanye West seems pretty darn pleased with the news. The “Jesus Walks” rapper shopped for furniture in West Hollywood yesterday, sporting a positive vibe.
As for his professional life, it sounds like he’s still taking some time to deal with the recent death of his mother.
With only a few days notice, West cancelled his appearance at the KDWB Jingle Ball last night, citing an unspecified “family matter.”
The KDWB program director explained, “We tried to get [West] on the air to explain all this to fans, but he refused. We did everything we could to save this thing.”
Somehow we doubt his no-show last night will do much to dampen his popularity with his fans.

Drawing a close to a holiday in Barbados, Amy Winehouse was spotted on Saturday at the airport, readying for her flight back to London.
The Rehab singer is said to have “flown out last weekend with the hope that friends would join her in time for New Year’s Eve this past Monday.” But, according to reports, Amy was left by her lonesome.
A source told the Sun: “They didn’t want to be with her unless she was serious about sorting herself out - and she didn’t seem to be. She should have used the time to get clean and find new focus in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Instead she has just looked forward to getting home - and getting wasted.”
As for her career, recent talk tells that Miss Winehouse plans on making her return to the stage on February 10th at the Grammy Awards. That is, if she can get into the States.
An insider informed the Daily Mirror, “Amy is really excited to be asked to perform at the Grammys. It’s a huge event. She’s planning to do some sort of soul and Motown medley, and is even weighing up the possibility of a duet with some U.S. stars - particularly Kanye West, who has spoken in the past of wanting to work with her. The only potential problem is that Amy will need a U.S. visa, so she is hoping that her recent arrest won’t cause any problems.”
