Long before there was “Oops, I Did It Again” and her subsequent public meltdowns, little Britney Spears was a squeaky-clean castmember of the Mickey Mouse Club.

A Mickey Mouse Club T-shirt that Spears owned and gifted to one of her grandmothers will be up for auction later this month from New York’s Gotta Have It memorabilia site. It’s expected to go for as much as $20,000 because it’s also signed by fellow castmembers, including Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Keri Russell.
Why she gave it to her grandmother, I don’t know, but the future pop star signed it, “I love you grandma.”
Also on the block will be one of Madonna’s daily planners from the late-’80s. That should fetch between $9,000 and $11,000, according to an auction rep.

Anne Archer taking over Privileged role
Anne Archer has joined the cast of the new CW series Privileged. She’ll be replacing Marsha Mason in the role of Laurel Limoges, a wealthy Palm Beach resident raising her orphaned granddaughters. Mason appeared in the drama’s pilot episode. Privileged is the series’ newest title. At different stages it was called How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls and, in the network’s recent upfront, Surviving the Filthy Rich.
The drama begins with twentysomething Megan Smith (played by Joanna Garcia) unexpectedly getting hired by Laurel Limoges to tutor the woman’s teen granddaughters. Laurel is a widow whose fortune comes from a successful cosmetics empire.
It’s unfortunate that Marsha Mason didn’t work out, but Anne Archer is a terrific fit for a show like this. She’s had more TV roles over the last few years. She played Melinda’s mother on Ghost Whisperer, and appeared in several episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia as Dennis and Dee’s mom. It will be fun to compare her performance with Jessica Walters’ grandmother role, since Privileged is airing after 90210 on Tuesdays this fall. Which wealthy matriarch will rule the CW?

Dan Humphrey, you can breathe a sigh of relief, ’cause Serena Van der Woodsen’s ice queen of a grandmother won’t be around next season to try and tear you away from your twue wove.
Just heard from inside sources that Caroline Lagerfelt, who plays Lily’s crazy be-yotch mom on Gossip Girl has been cast as the mother of Nick George, Peter Krause’s character on Dirty Sexy Money.
They tell me that as of now, Caroline is in just one episode of season two (likely the fourth or fifth), but moms have a way of staying close to their kids, so I expect we’ll see more of her.
She’s going to give the saga of the intertwined George and Darling families some nice dimension, don’t you think?

Last night, the Latina singer made an appearance on the results show of “Dancing With The Stars” and the audience loved every minute of it.
Mrs. Marc Anthony performed her latest single “Do It Well” as well as an old favorite, “Let’s Get Loud.”
And while her live act is sizzling, her record sales are tanking. Reportedly J Lo has sold only 53,000 copies of her new album “Brave” so far.
