Back in the 1990’s, Claire Danes was the poster child for social outcasts on her show “My So-Called Life.” And after her appearance at yesterday’s Motion Picture Club Awards, she may be the face of the fashionably challenged.
The “Romeo and Juliet” actress was seen wearing an outfit that would quite possibly make a homeless woman turn her head and offer Danes a garment of her own.
It was a mix between French maid-gone-wrong, and a peasant from Oliver Twist. Danes’ grey dress had some sort of tie-dye “effect” around the collar, as well as at the bottom of the outfit.
It may have something to do with the fact that she’s been starring in Pygmalion as a Cockney flower girl masquerading as a high society, tea-drinking lady of propriety. But there’s such thing as taking method acting too far.

Judging from appearance alone, Lindsay Lohan is looking more and more like a possible rehab success story.
Wearing a clingy grey dress, along with a scarf and jacket, the Mean Girls actress spent Thursday shopping in Beverly Hills and taking in a movie at the ArcLight theaters.
The following day, wearing an all black ensemble, LiLo decided to spend some time out with her gal pals to a show in Pasadena - staying clean and sober the whole night through.
Meanwhile, Lindsay’s dad, Michael Lohan, has been defending the sincerity of his religious convictions.
Michael told press: “I’ve had such an effect on my family and my daughter Lindsay, and I want to show them through my example that you can right the wrongs and turn it around. And I hope that the grace that has been given to me can work through my family, and that we can come back to that same place in our hearts.”
Luckily for Michael, it looks like that grace may just be working through Lindsay right now.

Yesterday, the Georgia Rule star took to the shops of Beverly Hills, California. She spent some serious time picking out clothes at the trendy Harmony Lane boutique.
And LiLo looked sharp. She wore a grey trilby with a matching grey dress and some super sexy knee-high black boots.
She was also constantly chewing nicotine gum, to help curb her cravings for cigarettes. It seems the crimson-haired singer/actress is quitting smoking.
Lindsay is in town rehearsing for “Dare To Love Me,” a new movie about Tango legend Carlos Gardel.

Always one to draw attention wherever she goes, Danielle Lloyd said goodbye to 2007 by almost losing her dress as she jumped in a cab to head home.
The model/Celebrity Big Brother star spent New Year’s Eve with a few gal pals - getting her groove on at London’s Embassy nightclub.
Wearing a revealing grey dress, Dani seemed to be having a blast, as a fellow partygoer told The Sun: “Danielle was in high spirits.”
Speaking of her grand exit, the onlooker adds: “Her dress practically fell off her body as she jumped in a cab to go home.”
