Brittany Snow’s Healthy and Happy Living
Brittany Snow’s Healthy and Happy Living
Former American Dreams TV star Brittany Snow told People magazine back in 2007 that she had been diagnosed with anorexia, exercise bulimia, depression, and body dysmorphic disorder as a teenager – and that her weight had even dipped to 85 pounds at one point.
Nowadays, the up and coming actress says the she has shelved her personal trainer and has sworn off dieting altogether. Talk about a turnaround!
“I canceled my trainer.” Snow, 22, told press at Stride Gum’s Longest Day of the Year party in West Hollywood. “I refuse to do the whole diet, fitness, style thing anymore. I just kind of go and have fun. I know what I like, I know what makes me feel good, and that’s just what I do. I go to the gym every day, I eat really well, I buy dresses by myself. I want to work and be with my friends. That’s all I really care about.”
When asked about staying healthy, Brittany tells: “I think more than anything, the thing I’ve learned in being here is that everything else doesn’t matter as long as you’re taking care of yourself and you’re having fun. Just hanging out with my friends and trying to take care of myself, I think that’s the biggest thing.”
The Prom Night star has reportedly credited friend and One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush for helping to coach her on body image issues.

Sometime costar romances work, and sometimes they don’t. But when it comes Blake Lively and Penn Badgley things certainly seem to be going pretty well.
The Gossip Girl sweethearts were spotted having fun and grabbing some grub last night at Tortilla Flats in New York City prior to hailing a cab and heading over to Starbucks.
Miss Lively looked flirty and fun in a blue and white ¾ sleeve collared mini dress with a pair of casual black flats, while Penn looked laid back in a grey t-shirt and khaki shorts teamed with a pair of white sneakers.
And with the 2008 Teen Choice nominations having recently been announced, these two have a lot to look forward to. Gossip Girl has been nominated for 14 awards including Choice TV Show, Choice TV Actress, and Choice TV Actor.

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian: Bathing Beauties
They’ve been busily promoting their hit reality show in Monte Carlo, Monaco over the past few days, but that doesn’t mean that Kim Kardashian and sister Kourtney have gone without a little vacation-like relaxation.
Prior to their appearance at last night’s Golden Nymph Awards, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashian’s” co-star siblings were spotted having fun in the sun aboard a yacht - with Kim popping a bottle of champagne for her big sis.
The reality star sweethearts also made time for a dip in the pool at the Hotel Hermitage - showing off their fine forms as Kim wore a sexy fire engine red two-piece bikini while Kourtney chose a white two-piece swimsuit.
According to Kim’s personal blog, the day wasn’t all about waterside relaxation, as the pair also had brunch with Extra correspondent Terry Seymour, eating and filming at Cafe de Paris.
Brooke White Sweet on Saving the World
Brooke White will be taking the stage with a message this summer.
The season-seven American Idol finalist has teamed with Idol Gives Back and the aid group Malaria No More to encourage kids to spend their vacations not only having fun but to do their part to make the world a better place, as well.
In addition to doling out tips on how they can help those less fortunate, the Save the World Summer campaign is offering two tickets to next year’s Idol finale for the youngster who raises the most funds to buy mosquito-blocking bed nets for children in Africa.
“This generation of American kids is the most globally conscious and actively engaged the world has ever seen,” said White, who heads out on tour with American Idols Live next month. “Malaria remains the No. 1 killer of children under five in Africa, claiming more than 1 million lives a year including an African child every 30 seconds, and I am so inspired and proud to be participating in this summer campaign…
“It’s empowering for kids to learn how they can take simple steps to make a huge impact, be it through providing food for a hungry family, planting a tree to combat global warming or donating a bed net to protect a child from malaria.”
