Continuing along with their sociable ways, parents-to-be Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz visited a friend’s house in celebration of Independence Day on Friday (July 4).
The “Outta My Head” singer and her Fall Out Boy hubby chatted it up for awhile before toting their baby bulldog Rigby to the car for the short ride home.
As previously reported by , the couple were also out kick-starting the holiday weekend on Thursday - with Pete clowning around for the paparazzi by “getting wasted on water” before shooting off some fireworks.
As for the future, Ashlee and Pete are set to become parents later this fall, with a string of rumors that they’ll be welcoming a baby boy into their family - although the sex of the baby hasn’t been confirmed yet.

In honor of her hubby’s 29th birthday, Ashlee Simpson escorted Pete Wentz for a romantic evening out on the town on Thursday night (June 5).
The Outta My Head singer and her birthday boy got all dressed up and headed over to West Hollywood hot spot “Foxtail” - as the pair were swarmed by paparazzi while they wiggled their way in through the entrance.
Meanwhile, contrary to many of his fellow Hollywood stars, Pete recently spoke with E!’s Jason Kennedy about how he dislikes receiving big gifts on his birthday.
“The truth is I hate my birthday. I don’t like it at all. It’s because I realized I’m bad at receiving presents,” says Wentz.
“I’m really bad at receiving presents so I get really nervous around my birthday and I really don’t want people to give me presents.”

The day has finally come, as the first picture from Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s wedding has been released thanks to People magazine.
As previously reported by , the Outta My Head singer and her Fall Out Boy beau tied the knot in the backyard of Ashlee’s parents house, which had been converted into an Alice in Wonderland-themed spectacle.
And to make sure that no guests could try to cash in on the affair, there was plenty of security to keep everything just as Papa Simpson desired.
To this note, guests weren’t able to bring cell phones or cameras into the wedding/reception. “You could step out and make a call, but you had to check the phone in before returning back inside. It wasn’t a big deal. Everyone there gets it.”

Fresh off of news that Ashlee Simpson would be changing her name to Ashlee Wentz, she and husband Pete Wentz have finally confirmed that they are expecting their first child.
“While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child,” they wrote on Wentz’s website.
The couple continued to tell: “This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”
The Outta My Head singer and her Fall Out Boy beau were just recently married in Los Angeles on May 17, honeymooning in Turks and Caicos shortly thereafter.
