When Lipstick Jungle comes back for the new season on Wednesday, September 24, we already know that Wendy’s life will be impacted by the appearance of her challenging, iconic mother Joyce, played by television great Mary Tyler Moore.
Now comes news via E! Online that things will be getting more complicated for the Lipstick Jungle with the addition of two more name stars; Latino talents Carlos Ponce and Rosie Perez are both booked for guest roles.
Carlos, best known to American TV fans from 7th Heaven, is a singer-hotty heartthrob. He’ll be getting into Victory’s storyline, playing Rodrigo, a contractor who turns her head. They’re saying that Rodrigo is the complete opposite of Victory’s Mr. Big-style lover, Joe Bennett, so you can see why Victory may be attracted to him.
After all, Victory has bucked under the all-encompassing love Joe’s offered her, feeling a need to assert her independence. Perhaps Rodrigo is just the kind of rebellion to make Joe realize not to take her for granted? By the way, NBC may be hoping to pull in the telenovela crowd with this casting: Ponce was a major player in Dame Chocolate on Telemundo (also an NBCUni product).
Still no word from CBS on whether Rosie will be called back to duty for the Geena Davis cop drama pilot in which Perez co-starred.

The High School Musical heartthrob is currently filming “Seventeen” along with Matthew Perry, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Melora Hardin.
Efron showed up on the Santa Monica set yesterday wearing a comfy combo of a grey t-shirt and some 3 stripes Adidas warm-up pants.
And apparently, Zac is a joy to work with. Co-star Trachtenberg recently told press, “It’s nice coming to work with Zac Efron. He’s like the loveliest thing and doing a great job on the movie.”

As an update to the ’ Lindsay Lohan’s new man story, apparently she’s not the only one exploring new territory in spite of a relationship. So is Adrian Grenier.
The Entourage heartthrob is reportedly hot and heavy with reality show starlet Kim Kardashian. Despite reports that Kim was engaged to New Orleans Saint Reggie Bush, apparently she has been engaging in a little extra-curricular activity with Grenier.
A Hollywood insider has reported that Adrian and Kim have been on-again-off-again-ON-again lovers for some time now. Apparently they spent some time in Mexico in early December, and “they’ve been in touch and seeing each other on the sly ever since.”
Whether or not their significant others, namely Reggie and LiLo, had any idea about the whole ordeal remains to be seen. We’ll keep you updated on this potentially messy situation.
As for Kim, she doesn’t seem too bent out of shape about it. She was spotted lunching with her sisiters Kourtney and Khloe at Toast yesterday before heading over to the Hilary Rush boutique in Los Angeles, California.

One of the things that makes New York City such a great place to visit is all the celebrity sightings. And the lucky people outside the Ed Sullivan Theater yesterday got an eyeful of Hollywood majesty.
The Late Show with David Letterman welcomed two huge celebrity guests for their taping last night - Colin Farrell and Blake Lively. And the lucky spectators that waited around got to catch a glimpse of the two hotties.
The Irish heartthrob showed up sporting an almost homeless-chic look, including a wool topcoat, fedora, and a pair of beat-up jeans as he scanned the crowd lining the theater entrance.
Meanwhile, Blake opted for a more clean-cut girlie-girl ensemble, including a white scoopneck shirt underneath a tan jacket with jeans and leather boots. And dig that smile!
