Heidi and Spencer’s Television Wedding?

Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt want to do it on live television.

The pressaholic reality-television couple have been talking to MTV honchos about a live telecast of their upcoming nuptials!

Montag, 21, has told MTV programming and development honcho Tony DiSanto that they’re ready to say their I-do’s for the cameras, a source reports.

No surprise, but DiSanto is said to be keen on the idea.

According to Montag and Pratt’s weekly latest cover story in Us, their dream is a small wedding on Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the Virgin Islands, with catering by Wolfgang Puck’s Cut restaurant, watches by Jason of Beverly Hills for all their guests and a performance by U2.

Of course, Montag wants to warble out a tune, too.

The island thing probably won’t work out, so MTV might as well kill two birds with one stonehow about Montag and Pratt get hitched onstage during the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards?!

Hey, maybe Bromance studster Brody Jenner can get ordained by an Internet ministry and actually marry them, too!

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt: Photo Opportunists

Usually when you hear the name Barney in Hollywood, it’s referring to an uber-popular New York-style department store.  But for Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, it meant that it was purple dinosaur time.

The peroxide pair smiled big as they posed with the children’s character as they checked out the “A Time for Heroes” Celebrity Carnival at the Wadsworth Theater yesterday in Los Angeles, California.

Heidi and Spencer also got the opportunity to do a photo shoot with famed celebrity photographer Martin Scholler (who has shot everyone from Jack Nicholson to Angelina Jolie) over at ACE Gallery on Wilshire Boulevard.

And it seems that their penchant for publicity has helped them earn an estimated $3 million earnings over the past two years.  Miss Montag explained, “We are trying to entertain in every aspect of our lives.  I plan to win an Oscar.  I’m very ambitious!” Spencer added, “My hustle is just too crazy.  I’m trying to take over the world!”

News from the trashtastic cast of The Hills

Whitney and LCHere’s what’s going on with MTV’s resident morons this week…

Whitney Port is getting her own show. I bet you the nipple slip awhile ago sealed the deal. According to Us Weekly, The Hills star will be working bicoastally for a fashion PR firm called People’s Revolution. Now, she’ll be involved in hijinx on both coasts. Apparently, in New York, Whitney will befriend socialite Olivia Palermo.

Heidi and Spencer have made three million in two years of off “their work as douchebags” according to VH1. And no, the three million is not their combined salaries from The Hills. The couple just shamelessly sells out: club appearances, clothing lines, photo ops. I love that VH1 used the phrase “their work as douchebags.” It’s so true.

And here’s the sneak peek of season 4 of The Hills coming this August. Lauren will find a new guy. Audrina and Lo will fight over LC’s affections. And Stephanie will make the awful decision to invite LC and Heidi and Spencer to her birthday party.

The Hills Season 3 Kicks Off with a Party

The last season of The Hills ended with Lauren Conrad having her wish granted of going to Paris for Teen Vouge, and Heidi and Spencer appeared to be on verge of a total breakup -, with Heidi heading back to Colorado.  Despite LC’s luck of getting a second chance at going to Paris, her relationship with Brody was going absolutely nowhere.

And then there was Paris.  Less than 48 hours after Lauren left the country, Brody was already making out with another random girl that he was calling his girlfriend. When Audrina relayed this info to Lauren, she responded by hitting up the Paris nightlife and flirting with as many European boys as possible.

This fling with disaster almost ended up costing Lauren big time when she accidentally burnt her dress with a curling iron after a late night at the club.  In the end, there was the fairytale moped ride around the historic city to finish the visit.  Yes, a moped.

Spencer made the bold (yet brainless) move of following Heidi to Colorado to plead his love for her and apologize.  Not realizing that the whole point of her trip to Colorado was to get a break from his ridiculousness, Spencer just irritated Heidi even more with his surprise visit.  Heidi suggested that they move into separate places once back in Los Angeles, and Spencer handled the situation like a five year-old, as could be expected.

With so much drama unfolding in the season premiere, there are many story lines to follow this season.  Will Heidi be able to re-establish relationships with girlfriends and still have a functional relationship with Spencer is highly questionable, and Lauren is officially single with Brody sporting a new flavor of the month. Stay tuned to for coverage thought out the season of The Hills.

Meanwhile, looking the gorgeous diva that she is, Mariah Carey headed up the season premiere after party on MTV - performing soon to be hits from her new album that’s due out in stores on April 15th.

Audrina, Lauren, and Whitney took over hosting duties, while Heidi wasn’t present. Miss Montag did, however, leave a video message saying that she was working on her album and couldn’t get away to attend the NYC Gotham Hall premiere.
